Three words.
Three words that changed her life forever.
I know what you think those words are, but they're far from that.
What are those three words you ask.
Well, for Teeliah George, those words were 'You are pregnant.'
Now, you would think that those words wouldn't scare the hell out of someone, but you see, Teeliah was just 13 when she found out of the growing human inside of her.
The day Teeliah thought she might be pregnant, she was home alone. Her family were out but she didn't feel well so she stayed home.
She was crying in her room and mustn't of heard one of her older sister's, Nataliah, come home. Nataliah walked past Teeliah's room and heard her crying. She walked in and comforted Teeliah. When Nataliah asked what was wrong, Teeliah didn't have a choice but to tell her the truth. Nataliah bought a pregnancy test for Teeliah, and when it said positive, Nataliah took her to the doctors to get a real test.
That's when the doctor said those three words.
"Teeliah. You are pregnant."
