I hate all of you.

Goodbye.

-Delaney J.

That was all my goodbye note said. I left it in the middle of my neatly made bed, in my 'room' in the corner of the basement of my packs house.

Yeah, I live in the basement.

Yeah, it's a four story house with plenty of empty rooms.

And yeah, I only live in a corner of the basement. Fancy livin, eh?

Hey, I didn't choose a terrible life, my mom picked it out for me. Almost literally.

My mother was a bastard woman. She has beaten me ever since I could remember. But jokes on her, I'm a pretty good actress. Her beatings rarely hurt anymore because I'm so used to them. It's a thing I hate to say, but it's true. No one should be used to beatings, even if she's the 'maid' of the pack.

I'm more or less the maid of the SunShine Pack. A very lame name for a pack, I know.

I'm not really even sure why I was the maid. My mother just never liked me, and I've never known my father, he ran away from the pack during my mothers pregnancy. I also have a sister and a brother. My sisters name is Kate, and she's your average skinny, blonde, blue eyes. You know, your average slut. And that's what she was. She's been with everyone in the pack that isn't related to her. Gross.

And my brother, he left with my dad, so I never knew him either. He was around five, Kate was two, and I was just a few months old.

And so because my mom didn't like me, she made me do almost everything for her, and the rest of the pack -including my sister- joined in, and I'd have to take care of all of them too.

We don't have the biggest pack in Florida, but we don't have the smallest either.

But either way, it was a lot of effort to do everyone's homework, clean the whole house, cook three meals a day, take beatings from approximately ninety people per day, and go to school myself.

I'm tired of doing all of that. I'm tired of being around these horrendous people. I'm tired of breathing the same air as them.

So I'm leaving the pack, as you guessed by the note I'd written.

I'm running away like a coward, and I'm finally going to be happy.

I prepared to leave, just grabbing a few essentials that I have. My used phone and it's charger, all of my yoga pants and comfy t-shirts, and an older pair of headphones. Not the good kind that go over your head, the kind that you plug into your ears.

I just grabbed what little stuff I wanted to bring, and stuffed it into a drawstring backpack.

I then took off my clothes and put them into my drawstring backpack and pulled it shut.

I then shifted into my wolf. I'm nothing fancy, I'm just a light brown/blondish color with some white patches on my nose, chest, paws, and the tip of my bushy tail.

I grabbed my backpack gently with my teeth, and bounded up the stairs quietly. I then listened for anyone in the foyer, so that I could make a run for it.

I didn't hear anyone. I'm pretty sure they're all the party that happened to be today. It's in the back yard, so I have to be really careful and quiet when I make my escape. Hopefully the party is fun and no one will be on the lookout for their maid.

I exited through the side door, and silently jogged into the cover of the thick woods.

Because we're all werewolfs here, there are large doggy doors for pack members to get in and out. Once I run away, I will no longer be a part of this pack so I can't enter through the doggy doors. Don't ask me how it works, because I honestly don't know.

I listened for any sounds, and then, when I found the forest completely silent, I started running full speed for the pack's property line. We have security wolfs surrounding the perimeter at all times, but right about now is when the security on this side, falls asleep. How responsible!

I made sure I was making no noise as I ran, and I clenched my back back between my teeth tighter, but not enough to break any holes through it.

I jogged right past the security without making a sound.

When I was past security, right after that is the territory line. It's not a visual line, but everyone knows it's there. I took a step over the line, and cautiously walked completely over, as if a thousand guard wolfs would attack me if they saw me crossing this line, which would never actually happen.

I paused for a moment, and put down my bag. I looked around, deciding which way I want to go.

I decide to just go straight. I'll just run until I find another packs territory line, then I'll go around the pack, and keep running until my feet are bleeding and I'm far away from the SunShine Pack.

Thanks for reading. This is a new book of mine, and if you find any typos, or errors, please tell me so I can fix them! :)

Comment! Do you like this so far? Should I continue it? It was just an idea that I had, sorry if it's bad :(

And if anyone has a good title that I could use, that'd be amazing! Because I'm pretty bad at titles! haha

Thanks again!
