I wake up groggily and just lay there with my eyes shit for a minute or two.
Let's recap;
I ran away from my old pack, became a rouge for around a day, then I had to hide from another rouge so that I wasn't killed. I was then found by a few members if another pack. Was I crossing their pack line? I don't remember going near another pack, let alone going through their property.
Anyways, whilst I was trying to get away from said pack members, I tripped and got all bruised up, and broke a few things and my wolf took over and put me asleep.
I rubbed my right forearm with my left hand, and then my left forearm with my right hand. Both of my arms have completely healed. A broken bone normally takes around three days to a week to heal.
I felt my ribs. All healed also. How long was I out for? Did my wolf keep me asleep until all of my wounds heal? I sighed and rubbed my face with my hands. I really don't want to open my eyes.
I took a deep breath in through my nose, trying to see if I'm in a familiar place.
I don't recognize any of the scents here, and there are many of them.
That's both good and bad.
Good because that means that I'm not where I came from, and bad because I don't know where I am, and if these people aren't going to kill me.
I took my hands off my face, sat up, and finally opened my eyes.
I'm in a room that smells so delicious. It's almost as though I'm craving more and more of the scent, and I don't understand why. It smells like vanilla and strawberries, with a hint of cinnamon. Doesn't sound like the best thing, but let me tell you, it's amazing.
The walls are plain white, and the bed I'm laying in has tan sheets and a dark brown duvet. The floor is a creamy colored shag carpet.
I looked around. This room looks like someone took it out of an Ikea brochure.
I stood up. I'm wearing someone's pale pink, silk nightie. I'm glad I shaved my legs before I left, because it only reaches my mid thigh.
But wait. I was in wolf form when I was knocked unconscious.
And I'm a human again now, wearing someone else's clothes.
That means, at least one person has seen me naked.
I immediately get embarrassed and I'm sure that my cheecks and nose are bright red.
I quickly remake the bed I was just sleeping in and sat back on the bed for a moment.
There's suddenly two sharp knocks on the door and then it's opened and an attractive stranger that smells amazing walks in. He's tall, at least six feet tall. He has slightly long, curly honey brown hair, and hazel eyes that I could stare into forever.
Wait.. what?
He shut the door behind himself and started speaking.
Oh god his voice is like chocolate for the ears if you get what I'm saying. No? Okay, yeah that didn't make much sense.
"Why were you on my land?" He asked me as he crossed his arms and stared into my eyes. I thought I was going to melt.
Suddenly enveloped in fear, at the fact that I have to speak to this beautiful being, I hang my head and say nothing.
"Silence, eh? Alright then, I'll do the talking. You are a rouge, and you're trespassing on my land. I am the alpha, and I have to protect my land. You're lucky I have a nice mate,"- ouch. I should have known he already had a mate -"and if it wasn't for her, you'd already be dead."
How nice to know.
I don't know what to say, so I guess I won't say anything.
The thought of him just killing me because I was on his land sinks in, and my head hangs even lower than before.
"Stand." I don't know why or how, but somehow my legs stood up on their own, without me telling them to.
"Look at me." My head snaps up at his dominant voice and my eyes connect with his.
Our gaze holds for a few more moments, until I look down, remembering that looking into an alphas eyes signals a challenge.
I can feel his gaze on me until the door opens again.
A gorgeous young woman walks in, and smiles at me.
I look her in the eyes, and immediately return my gaze to the carpet.
"Look at me, sweetheart." Her voice was like a melody.
I looked up and into her dark chocolate eyes.
"My name is Dawn, and this is my mate; Ashton." She says as she gestured towards the handsome man.
"What's your name, honey?"
"I.. um.. erhm..." I stuttered.
"Get out." The deep demanding voice startled me, and I jumped.
The demand came from the man, Ashton.
"Ash-" Dawn started, but was interrupted.
"Quiet, Dawn! Know your place!" he roared. She didn't respond, so I decided to speak up.
