As I saw the boy walking with his 'I don't care look'. He immediately sit next to me with his phone. He seemed to be playing game in his phone. That game look cool, but that will disturb his study and failed in examination. So maybe.. just maybe.. I'll try to talk to him.
"Uhm, you know you can't play video games during class right?"
"Why? Jealous that you have to live a boring life?"
"Wh- wha?"
"I know you Unisara, you're that nerd who always hangs out at the library and read novels. I gotta say, for a nerd you look pretty cute."
I blushed as he spoke that word, 'cute'. Is that a mockery? How dare he makes fun of that?
"Uhm, is that an insult?"
"Why would I lie? Do you think I'm one of the jerks?"
After that it was a sudden akward silence and the teacher told us the assighment. We have to make a presentation about the combination of element and how it became like that. It's pretty easy to be honest, considering that it is something we learn since middle school.
The teacher told us to do some research and discuss between pairs. It was still a akward silence, we never even talk. I wanna say something but I feel a little shy, he look so.. I don't know how to explain. He cute cat ears make me want to pat him. Is he even a cat?
As alchemy class ended, he finally spoke, "My name is Jeremiah, and you may think I'm a cat but I'm a wolf."
*skip time to end of day*
I walked alone after school, suddenly I received a text from Jeremiah. He said that I have to go to his house for more research and discussion to do. Without thinking, I just accept it.
