Chapter 11: Flirting with Puns

Dream collapses to the snow as tears fell like waterfall. He shook and sobbed, knowing his brother is no more. Sans' pin pricks were gone, Ink look at Error in shock and devastated, Blue froze; trying to comprehend if everything is real, Tem growled and Tuyoki looks at Error with no expression.

"You really have lost your mind." Tuyoki whispered. "

̶A͡hahah͝a!͞ Now̷,͘ ͘w̡it͘h ͟th҉is̵ brat͞ in ͞m̧y str͡i̛n͠g̴s,҉ ́I͏ c̡án͠ ͠d͘estro̵y̴ an͘d ͢erase͡ ̶ȩver͡y͢t͏h́i̕n͡g and evęr͢yon̢e҉. Nǫn͝e o̡f yo͏u wi̵l҉l ҉l̷e̸a͢v̡e͜ ̡a͘l̡i̕v̨e͏!" Error cackles as strings struck at them.

They all dodged except for Dream but was thankfully pulled away by Ink. "Dream! Are you alright?" Ink asks Dream worriedly but all the young Sans replied was 'he's gone' repeatedly like a broken record.

Ink looks at his friend sadly and turns to Error who is fighting Tuyoki and Tem. Sans and Blueberry were on the ground, injured. Sans looked fatigued and hopeless, Blueberry on the other hand looked determined but also tired.

"ACK!"

Ink turns to the sound to see Tuyoki and Tem in strings. The strings tightened around the temmie and human before flinging them towards Sans and Blueberry. Ink looks at Dream and tells him 'Stay here, I'll be back soon!'

Ink ran and jumped on Error but was quickly spotted and almost got shot down. Using his brush, he quickly blinded Error with purple paint and coloured his whole body with red paint while running around the glitch.

Ink then stops and stood a few ways from Error and snapped his fingers. Error rubbed his face, trying to get rid of the paint. While he was distracted, the red paint on his body turned into slashes and cut through him.

Ink watch in shock and surprise. He couldn't kill him. Then he remembered, he was a guardian and as a guardian, he can only protect, not kill and that includes his enemies. Ink steps back warily, watching Error slowly getting to his feet again.

"ɧɛɧɛɧɛ. ῳɧąɬ'ʂ ɬɧɛ ɱąɬɬɛཞ ıŋƙყ? ƈąŋ'ɬ ɧųཞɬ ɱɛ?" ask Error, playfully as he wipes the paints off himself. Error stands and looks at Ink with his arms open. "ɠı۷ɛ ɱɛ ყơųཞ ცɛʂɬ ʂɧơɬ, ıŋƙʂɬɛཞ." Error glitches drastically and blue strings came from his fingers, all directed and targeted at the creative skeleton.

Ink dodge one of the strings going for his skull and jumped from one of them going for his legs. He then starts running while sweatdropping as the strings chased after him instead of the glitched skeleton. Ink then hid behind a tree to catch his breath only to have the tree chopped down just a few inches above his skull by gaster blasters.

Ink peeks and quickly ducks down when black bones flew at him. The skeleton took another chance to peek and saw Error still in his same spot with Annoying Dog behind him in strings.

It seems like the dog was trying to free itself by chewing the strings. "Whoa Error, you're really GLITCHED on the spot huh?" Ink joked and Error growls but couldn't help stop a few chuckles that escaped him.

"۷ɛཞყ ʄųŋŋყ." Error growled angrily but a smile could be seen.  "Nah, I have more puns! It's SNOW problem!" Ink continues and quickly jumped away from the stump when more bones and string were targeted at him.

Error begins to chuckle more but quickly refrains himself from laughing further. "ąɧɛɱ. ąŋ ơ۷ɛཞųʂɛɖ ℘ųŋ. ཞɛąƖƖყ?" Error asks Ink in an annoyed tone. The smile on Error's face was beginning to grow. But this smile isn't one that shows insanity, it instead shows joy from the puns.

"Hey, an overused pun is more PUNNY then new ones sometimes." Ink shrugs and his pin pricks dilated when he saw the gaster blasters behind him. Error coughs, trying to hide his laughter but he couldn't stop smiling.

"WHOA! You're one gaster blaster castor, Error! They almost BLASTER-ED me away!" Ink continues. Behind him, you can hear soft laughter from Sans and Tuyoki but a groan of annoyance from Blue and Tem. Dream, still no reaction.

"I swear, they're flirting with one another." Tuyoki whispers to Sans who tries to stifle a laughter. "What the hey, Tuyoki. You're a shipper?" Sans asks while chuckling. "A quiet but proud one!" Tuyoki winked to Sans.

"ąʂ ɱųƈɧ ąʂ ı ɛŋʝơყ ɬɧɛ ℘ųŋʂ, ცųɬ ı ɬɧıŋƙ ყơųཞ ɬıɱɛ ıʂ ų℘, ıŋƙყ-ცơყ." Error chuckles and whispered to Ink. He had teleported behind Ink while the creative skeleton was distracted by his friend's reaction.

Ink blushed slightly at the close contact but winced and fell onto the snow when a bone hit him.

The skeleton rolled on the snow a few times before coming to a stop. "Ugh..." Ink moaned in pain from the one hit. A shadow loomed above him and Ink looks up slowly to see Error with a gaster blaster. "ʂąყ ɠơơɖცყɛ ɬơ ɬɧɛ ɱųƖɬı۷ɛཞʂɛ, ɠųąཞɖıąŋ..." Error smirks as the gaster blaster begins to hum up the energy blast.

Ink quickly reaches for his green paint on his belt-satchel but felt nothing. "Ɩơơƙıŋɠ ʄơཞ ɬɧıʂ?" Error's voice makes Ink look at him and realizes that Error had his belt-satchel with all his essentials.

Looking around for his paintbrush, he realizes it's too far from his reach behind Error. Error chuckles at Ink.

"P̢athe̡tic."

The gaster blaster released the energy beam at Ink and a loud boom resonated throughout the underground. In the whole multiverse, a shockwave was sent out and everyone felt it. It shook the whole multiverse...but it did not tilt the balance between Create and Destroy.

In front of Ink stood Dream with his staff being twirled to block the energy beam from reaching Ink. "D-Dream!" Ink calls the skeleton gratefully and Dream turns to said skeleton and winked. "Sorry about earlier, I...had to grasp the fact..." Dream trails sadly and Ink nodded in understanding.

"ῳ-ῳɧąɬ? ყơų..." Error gasps and everyone turns to Error to see him looking into the woods. The strings holding Annoying Dog was then cut in a flash and the dog was nowhere to be found. "W̴h̀a͢t ͟t͡he͟- ͘I̷ KNOW͟ ͢YO̢U͜ ͟AR̛Ȩ H͟E͡R̶E!̕ ̶SHOW͠ YO͡U̷RS̴ELF!̷" Error yelled angrily.

He knew the person, he just needed a confirmation. A flash of speed stopped in between the gap of Error and the others. Snow dust flew in the air and everyone watched in suspense when the snow dust begins to die down.

A man in flannel jacket with a green shirt underneath and dark grey jeans with brown furry boots stood next to Annoying Dog who was on the snow, barking at Error.

"Sup." Greeted Toby.

A/N: Whaaaat? An early update from Author?! Yeup, I apparently got the mood after drinking a can of energy/sweet drink. So uh, I got kinda high and hyperactive and wrote all this down. Also, I'm experimenting some new font called zalgo! Comment down if you can read it better than the old fonts I used for Error! Also, vote if you can?
