"I'm bored." Jack said. We decided to have a sleepover today and we would be on our bikes,but of course it had to rain. We don't want to get our bikes rusty.
"I am too." I said. "You know what?" "What?" Jack asked,looking up at me from the couch. "We can't ride our bikes in the rain,but we can..." I looked around and spotted my waterproof speaker that I bring to the beach.
I smiled and grabbed it. I grabbed his hand as well and ran to the door,dragging him outside.
"Ah! Finn! We are gonna get soaked you idiot!" Jack yelled,shaking some water off his hand. "That's the point dummy." I said. I clicked a button on my speaker and a slow song turned on. I held out my hand for him and he took it nervously. "Finn-" "Jack,lossen up for once. Talk to me,tell me what's really on your mind." I said. "Well all that's really on my mind is you." "What?" "Uh nothing." I laughed a little and put my hands on his waist. He slowly placed his hands on my shoulders and we swayed to the song playing.
"I love you Jack!" I blurted out randomly,I couldn't hold it in anymore. I mentally face palmed. "Sorry I um...uh..." I stuttered. He smiled and laughed. "It's fine Finny,I love you too." He said. I swallowed the lump in my throat and stopped swaying. He did as well. I gathered the courage I could get,then I leaned in and kissed him. I pulled away slowly and he smiled.
We both leaned in for another kiss,this time more passionate and long.
And there we were,kissing in the rain.
