Karoosh (Vol.1)

Chapter 12

"Karoosh. Wake up. We have to meet sensei at the training field."

"Okay. I'm up."

"This time I didn't have use my tricks to wake you up. Are you okay?"

"I'm okay. Even I don't why I woke up early."

"It could have something to do with that seafood we had last night. Or you could be trying to change your​ habits after that talk we had."

"Or it could be a coincidence."

"Could be. Anyway get ready. We have to be there by eight."

So the both of us got dressed ate our breakfast​ and departed from our house. I was remembering last night's dinner. I could still taste that dip and those delicious prawns.

"Hey there. Come to reality."said Tamen

"You spoiled my daydream."I said.

"Right now enjoy the real world."

"At least let me get some ramen."

"No. We to get to the training field."

"Just one bowl?"

"You'll never stop at one."

"Fair point."

When we reached there, we only saw Sayla.

"Hey you two."said Sayla.

"Hey."I said.

"Sensei's not here yet?"asked Tamen.

"Nope."

"I told you sensei's not gonna come early. We had valuable time to spent at the ramen shop."

"Well he could've come early this time. You said it yourself, there's a first time for everything."said Tamen.

"Hey guys. I think I see him behind those trees."said Sayla.

"Looks like I was wrong again."I said.

We went to see that if Liu sensei has arrived early.

"That's not Liu sensei. That's​ just a scarecrow dressed up as him."said Tamen.

"That wasn't here last time."I said.

"Yup."

"Why would he dress up a scarecrow just like him.?"asked Sayla.

"Let's wait for him and then we will ask."said Tamen.

"We'll be dead of old age before he gets here."I joked.

Tamen smiled a bit.

"Now you shouldn't make fun of your sensei."said Tamen.

"Yeah you're right. It's not his fault that god gave him slow legs."I said.

"Karoosh without me, you'd be sleeping for your whole life."

"You got burned."said Sayla.

I did not utter a single word because I knew that I was gonna get humiliated again. We waited, and waited, and waited the three of us fell asleep.

"Hey you guys. No sleep last night?"said Liu sensei when he finally decided to show up.

"Late as always."said Sayla in a sleepy voice.

"Sorry I got hung up when I was having my breakfast."

"Can you tell us what is with that scarecrow over there? It had us fooled. We thought that was you there."
