Bringing Forth a new Genesis

Part 1: Lovers Until the End

"Hey, You Lawless! What are you doing here, This is Pack Territory!" Said a Female Wolf from Dusk Pack.

The Lawless Wolf paused because he knew that he was pack territory, But he also knew he did nothing wrong. So he gave her a stare that basically meant 'What Did I do?' This made the Dusk Wolf growl with a mixture of envy and confusion. She then replied to the expression with, "Well You're a Lawless! You're not supposed to be here..."

The Lawless snickered. He was clearly able to see that the Dusk Wolf thought all Lawless Wolves were evil and cruel. "Wha-What are you laughing at?!" She Snapped. The Lawless replies calmly, "You honestly think that lawless wolves are all bad.., And to think that you're half Lawless."

She paused. "H-How did you know..,Only my parents know that." The Lawless breathed. "I know because of your scent. A scent can say a lot about a wolf, where they come from, where they've been, and who they are."  This made the Dusk Wolf calm her self and give a half smile.

After a couple minutes of silence, The Dusk wolf came out and said with a smile, "My name is Jaciri by the way." She seemed a lot happier than she was before. "Nice to meet you Jaciri, My name is Mercury, and the reason I'm here is because I wanted to meet with the Alpha of this pack." he stated.

"Okay I see you knew what I was going to ask before I said it. Let me go get him."  She said Happily. A few moments later the Dawn Pack alpha came outside to greet Mercury. After a few moments of talking the Alpha had let Mercury join the pack.

"Thank you Sir, I will not let you down." Mercury Stated. Jaciri walked back over to him so they could talk more. The real reason she wanted to talk more was because she wanted to build a strong friendship. "Hey Mercury, would like to join me on a walk or run?" Jaciri asked with a smile. Mercury nodded signifying that he would go with her.

The Two wolves who were now friends for 50 minutes or so had run all over Chasma. They bonded over a shared love of swimming and running. This had pushed their friendship even more because now they had been out on their run for two hours.

Mercury had caught up to Jaciri after she ran ahead slightly only to find her sitting under a sakura tree waiting for him. "What took ya so long slow poke?" She said with a snicker. This made Mercury laugh as well before coming up to sit next to her. "Well You did kick  few rocks at me and we were also running at night." He answered.

The two friends had decided to stay by the tree that night and just watch the stars. Mercury was quick to point out the different constellations and name a few. "Right there! That's Taurus and that one over there is Ursa Major.." Jaciri just stared at him with confusion. "How do you know all of this?" She asked him. 

"I Just travel around a lot ya know?" Mercury had replied.

With the night sky shimmering with stars and the air getting colder Mercury and Jaciri ended up huddled together with Jaciri laying on Mercury's back. "Mercury? Can I tell you something?" She asked him with a mixture of shyness and confidence. "We're best friends, you can tell me anything." he responded with a calm tone. 

"I Love You." She said to him.    

This made Mercury pause for a moment but he then said, "I Love you too Jaciri, with all my heart." Mercury then felt a lick on his cheek and looking back at Jaciri. The two wolves ended up cuddling up together and slept peacefully through the night.

Now as you could imagine, Mercury and Jaciri ended up becoming mates. They were always together no matter what. They have never been seen apart once.

It has been two years since Jaciri and Mercury had become mates and they have been VERY busy during the last few months. So if you get what I'm saying then you know Jaciri is now expecting pups to be born any day now, and shes not the only one who's expecting pups. Her good friend  Quinzel was also expecting pups. The Two of them had planned for both of their liters of pups to be born in the Temple Of Knowledge.

"Jaciri I will be traveling for a few days, but I promise I will be back as soon as possible okay?" Merucry said to his mate before leaving. "Ok Be careful Mercury and I will see you when you come back." she replied.

This would be the last conversation Mercury and Jaciri had together.

A few days later Jaciri was having a conversation with Her Best friend Quinzel.

"Quinzel the medic said that both of our pup liters should be coming any day now, But..." Jaciri paused. "But What? Is something wrong?" Quinzel asked concerned for her friend. "Come on you can tell me, we're friends for a reason." She stated. Jaciri looked at Quinzel. "Well Mercury has been gone for a while now and I'm getting worrie-" Jaciri had gotten cut off by one of the scouts. "Come Quick! It's Mercury!" The scout shouted.

Both Jaciri and Quinzel followed the scout to a cave near the Temple Of Knowledge only to find a lifeless Mercury laying at the end. Jaciri's jaw dropped in shock as she rushed to the body of her mate. "Mercury.....please....wake up..." She said with tears in her eyes. Quinzel looked away and cried silently as she realized that one of her closest friends has died. "I Can't believe this Mercury..is..." Quinzel couldn't even finish her sentence.
