You finally wake up after a long night of studying. How refreshing! But then you notice your alarm clock. The torture device that rudely awakens you every morning. You see a terrible sight. The time of 10:30 on a school day. You wonder why your busy, engineer parents didn't wake you up, before remembering that they left on a business trip. You have barely seen them since you turned 13 during the summer. They said, "You are now old enough to stay at home alone." Now look where that got you. To make it worse, your homeroom teacher is the meanest teacher in the school. Ms. Barlin. She will surely send you to detention for being late on the first day of school. She will probably also assign extra homework. Worried by that thought, you quickly get ready.
