In the Keyblade Graveyard, miles out of sight from anyone, there is a small town. The people of the town watched over the lost keyblades from the first keyblade war and they also repaired damaged Keyblades. The town was run by a chief, his wife Nova, and their tiny daughter Sky. At the tender age of three Sky joined the watchers which made her the youngest one. However, one day the people of her town disappeared without a trace and she was left alone. Out of fear, little Sky went down one of the paths in the massive Graveyard to see three keyblade wielders. She watched a massive battle start between two of the keyblade wielders and she wanted to help but the people of her town always said: "that the keyblade wielders of this world shall not fight in any battles." Sky, now panicking, ran past them as fast as her little legs would allow. Racing back to her town, Sky tried to see if she could find the watchers or anyone for that matter, to stop the two boys but she never found anyone. Soon Sky came across a young man who looked like one of the boys that were fighting only he was a little older and his hair was white. Sky watched him nervously as he stared blankly into the distance but unfortunately little Sky tripped over a rock and she fell, catching the man's attention. Realizing that she was still a small child, the man took pity on her and allowed the little girl to follow him. Sky smiled at him, thankful for his companionship, but she was unaware of the journey ahead.

"Um... Mister? Where are we going?" Little Sky moaned as she trudged along the rugged dirt trail while dragging her little feet.

"My name is Xehanort little one." The man said as he knelt down.

"I'm Sky... it's nice to meet you, Mr. Xehanort." Sky giggled as she shook Terranort's hand.

"It's a pleasure to meet you too Sky." Terranort chuckled. As the two continued on, Terranort knew he had little Sky hooked. He smirked malevolently as he quietly chuckled darkly.

"Mr. Xehanort? Why didn't we just train in the village?" Sky asked softly.

"Easy I don't want people to see me," Terranort replied in a quiet voice. Sky only nodded, not fully understanding but she still followed along. Soon the duo arrived in a rocky area, devoid of keyblades.

"So why are we here?" Sky asked as she sat down on a rock, cutely kicking her feet.

"I'm going to train you to summon a keyblade. Let your heart be your guiding key." Terranort said kneeling down to look Sky in the eye and with that, Sky's journey began.

Years passed and Sky managed to finish her training, but unfortunately, now she wasn't a human, but a human-shaped heartless. She wears a white clock to protect herself from the light of the realm. Terranort was proud of how Sky had trained, but upon a mission inside Castle Oblivion, Terranort disappeared leaving Sky alone. Sky, wanting to find her teacher, started searching when a young man walked into the room she was currently in. His long white hair and piercing golden eyes made Sky confused.

"Who are you and where is my teacher?" Sky questioned as she crossed her arms and narrowed her eyes dangerously.

"Dear child, I am Ansem, the seeker of Darkness. Unfortunately, your teacher has vanished but I will continue teaching you." The man replied as he ran his hand through the loose strands of Sky's hair.

"Umm... Thanks." Sky sighed nervously. She seemed unsure if this was part of Xehanort's grand plan but having no other choice, she followed him. Soon Sky was on a mission to traverse town to stop a young keyblade welder. Soon she was bored and she was leaning up against a wall when she saw a boy... with a duck and a dog for companions? She quietly watched them when the boy's friend appeared.

"Hey, Sora," A silvered haired boy exclaimed as he stopped quickly.

"Riku!" The boy, named Sora apparently, replied happily. Sora then started talking to his duck companion and when he turned around Riku disappeared.

"Huh? Where did Riku go Donald?" Sora asked sadly to his Duck companion.

"Don't know." Donald quacked in response. Sky quickly turned to see Maleficent and Riku standing beside each other, directly in front of her. Suddenly, within the span of a second Maleficent took over Sky's mind and forced her to plunge seven worlds into darkness. Slowly the worlds of the seven princesses of heart faded to the realm of darkness. With no other choice but to press on, Sky took the princesses of heart to Maleficent.

"So what is she? She isn't fully heartless." Riku questioned as he glared at Sky.

"She may look like a human but she is a Heartless nonetheless," Maleficent replied without looking in Sky's direction. Sky crossed her arms in annoyance and she spun on her heel before walking away, her heeled boots clicked against the ground and they were getting softer.

"So What's with the white cloak?" Riku asked as he crossed his arms.

"To protect her from the realm of light," Maleficent replied quickly. Sky walked out of the castle and looked sadly into the night sky as the star slowly disappeared one by one.

"I guess, like a star, we're all meant to die off." Sky sighed as she wiped her eyes free of tears. Sky pulled her knees to her chest as she looked at Hollow Bastion.

"What will happen. Will the world fade away?" Sky asked softly as she looked at her hands when she heard footsteps approaching. Sky looks and hides as Sora, Donald, and the dog... thing approached.

"What is this place?" Sora asked, but Sky didn't answer out of fear.

"Whatever it is it can't be good." The dog... thing gulped. Suddenly Riku and a group of Heartless appeared in front of the group. Sky watched in uncertainty as Ansem the seeker of darkness possessed Riku. Out of nowhere a gentle hand lightly landed on Sky's shoulder. She jolted in surprise and looked up to see a man with light silver hair and somewhat kind golden eyes... her future brother, Xemnas.
