" I think we're here" my mother squealed.
I looked up from my sleepy hazily. I looked up to see a decent sized 2 story brick house. The brick was a light red color. It was kind of in the middle of the woods.
Great I can go on nice runs. It wasn't completely secluded...well not completely but just enough. The next house was about 3 minutes away so I think I'm safe.
We parked in the driveway of the house and got out. I walked up the big porch steps to the front door and opened it.
Dang, it was unlocked. I looked around and was amazed. We never had our own house before we have always lived in the pack house with lots of other people.
Which meant the house was always a disaster. But most of the time my mom got on to everyone and told them to clean it up or no dinner. With that they would haves jumped up and started cleaning.
The house would be spotless afterwards.
When you walked in through the front door, there was the living room to your right, it has a fireplace and everything, then to the left you had the kitchen and dinning room. The house was furnished. Thank god I thought. I didn't want to sleep on the ground for the first month of living here.
"Wow this is better than I thought. The pictures looked good but this looks even better" my mother said with a huge grin on her face.
Man I missed her smile. Ever since... never mind, anyway the tour. Then after you walk in a little ways you go down the hallway the first left is a bathroom. The first right is the master bedroom. My mothers soon to be bedroom. The stairs are at the end of the hallway. And my bedroom and a guest bedroom is up there.
"This is a great house mom" I said with an ear to ear grin on my face too.
She walked up to me and gave me a huge and a kiss on the head.
"I was hoping you would say that. I didn't know if you would like it." She said with a little relief on her face.
"It's great, more than great... Perfect." I said and smiled at her.
"Come on let's go get our things" she said and we both walked out.
