It's funny how you want everyone to notice you, but when they do you just want them to stop, especially when most the people watching your every move and action aren't even human. You see my name is Jake and I'm definitely not your average High-school student at least not anymore, since my fifteenth birthday, that's when these demons started popping up. Well actually it was like a few days after but something even more strange happened on that day, the day of my birthday.

First of all I woke up with snow white hair, I mean completely white. At first I thought my brother James had pulled a prank on me or something, but when I found out, after pranking him of course that it wasn't him, I was completely freaked out. The weirdest part about the whole thing is that when I tried to dye it back, black, its original colour it wouldn't accept the dye so I was stuck with white hair, WHITE HAIR, but it wasn't too bad, I mean it actually looked kind of cool. But the whole "me changing appearance thing" wasn't over, Later on in the day when I went to the movies with my best friends Alex and Dante the oddest thing happened. When we walked out the theater some girls stopped me and told me,

" Awesome contacts" I was a bit stunned  but then the followed by asking me,

"Where I got them from?" since I knew my eyes were just the usual dark brown just like hers I just said,

"This is my natural eye colour but thanks anyways" and she replied "No way that's totally awesome".

Since the movie was now over, I said bye to Alex and Dante and started to make my way home. Considering I didn't  live too far away I decided to walk, On my way home, the unexpected happened, I felt a sharp pain in my right eye as if someone was happily drilling into it, at that moment I started recall what the girls said earlier, and pondered if what they said about my eyes could be related to this immense pain in any way. Before I could actually give it too much thought the same pain started in my left eye as well, I hurt so badly that I dropped to the floor screaming in agony. The pain quickly spread throughout my whole body, but most of the pain was still centered in my eyes.

I felt like I was dying, I knew that it was only my eyes but this pain, it was unlike anything I could ever imagine. Just as suddenly as it started, it vanished, it was as if nothing had happened, I removed my hands from my eyes, and as I looked at my hands all i saw was blood, that crimson red colour, my eyes where bleeding, I didn't think it was possible, All I could think about was, how come I'm not blind or something. Although I was in complete astonishment, the pain no longer affected me, so I started to make my way back home once more. Every step I took the only thing on my mind  was:

"Will that happen again?", "And if so, will that agonizing pain be the same, or would it have increased?".

Eventually, I made it home. I didn't want Mom to see me and call a priest and half the church to try to exorcise me or ............... well I highly doubt my mom would do that, but still, so as soon as I entered the house I attempted to run straight up into my room, considering my current..."appearance" but apparently, my Mom had different plans. She was standing by the stairs when I walked in. I braced myself for the  for the horrific shrieks she would emit from her tiny voice box. There were none.

In fact, there was no reaction. She didn't say a thing besides,"Welcome back honey", Knowing my mom that was certainly out of character, but as surprised as I was, my situation blasted it's way back to the fore-front of my brain and I almost literally flew up the stairs into my room to see what was up with me. I needed to look at my eyes because my own eyes don't just start bleeding out of freakin' nowhere, I mean come on. I ran straight to the bathroom.

I needed to know what was wrong with me.

And I needed to know NOW!
