A shadow that ran across the room

               I had just started pacing in circles(A habit of mine when I listen to music) I then paused the song thinking I head something. I thought maybe it was just my brother raging over whatever game he's playing now. So I un-paused the music and continued on pacing. Then it happened again. So I went to his room. He was fast asleep. 'Maybe I'm hearing things.' I thought to myself. So I went back to the living room. As I turned while pacing I saw a small figure stand in front of the hallway, look at me,and run in front of me straight towards the door.
