TY was going on with the school day, getting something from his locker, when there was a small thud and that caught his attention. He looked past the door of his open locker, his eyes widening.
Laying face down on the marble floor was Adam, one of Ty's classmates, unconscious no less. He rushed to Adam's side, taking immediately control of whatever panic inside his system. He somehow managed to get to the position to carry Adam on his back.
Ty lugged the bigger boy to the nurse's office, which luckily wasn't that far, and left him outside the door. He knocked on the door and ran down the halls, turning the corner and pushing back up against the wall, breathing heavily. Be peered around the corner to see a nurse take Adam into the office. When she looked around the halls, he retreated to the darkness.
He took a deep breath and walked back to his locker. He lifted up the floor of the locker and rummaged through a black and neon green bag. Ty pulled out a bright green spray paint can and silently shut his locker. He sprayed the neon paint on the row of lockers, writing out this;
"We're back and the school's our next target. I'll be back, midnight."
Ending it off with his signature, ●Dead○Lox◎ Sure, it might be a bit weird, but he liked it. And he was stupid with what he did next!He hid the can back where it was and lowered the locker floor into place. He purposefully ran into the cement wall and hit his head really hard. Ty stumbled back and crashed into the lockers, interrupting his own teacher's class and making a girl peek her head out of the open classroom door. He stumbled a bit before falling to his knees while holding the area he hit the wall with on his head, which was now bleeding slowly.
Ty passed out as one of his friends, Harvey, came running over to support him.
He woke up a few hours later in the nurse's office, Adam sitting in a chair at his side. He groaned and slowly sat up. Adam looked up from a painted on bracelet, instantly tugging down his sleeve to cover it.
"The principal would like to speak with us." He said flatly.
"Wha . . . ? S-Sorry, my head's a bit f-fuzzy . . . "
"I don't blame you. I mean, you did hit the wall pretty hard, didn't you, DeadLox?" He asked, his voice had hints of concern and curiosity.
"H-How'd you . . . "
"I'm not an idiot. I pieced it together, there were no smudges in the paint, no sound of footsteps or anything of the sort, you were the only one there, there was absolutely no screams, screeches, or anything like it, and no struggle," Adam explained. "You obviously did it, but everyone's too stupid to realize it!"
"Or they just don't want to believe it." A small voice spoke up, the two boys looking up to a short male standing in the doorway.
"And you are?" Ty asked.
"Jason Probst, you know me "MU," He introduced himself. "Nice to formally meet you both, Deadlox, Sky."
"Does everyone know who we are?!" Ty asked.
"Just us four. It's not hard to put together a two piece puzzle, but no one else seems to know how to." Jason sighed.
"Four? But only the three of us are here, who's the forth?" Sky glanced around the room.
"The guy hiding behind the wall who thought I didn't notice," Jason shrugged. "Y'know, you can come and introduce yourself."
For an instance, no one appeared in the doorway, making him look crazy. But then, Ty's friend awkwardly shuffled into view. He waved shyly, giving them a little smile.
"Harvey — " Ty started.
" — Seto," He was cut off by Harvey. "Call me Seto."
"Why? Don't you like your name?" Sky asked.
"No, besides, people know me better as Seto Sorcerer, the sorcerer painter." He said sheepishly.
"Why didn't you tell me this earlier," Ty said. "We could have gone spray painted a building together like I wished we could've when we were younger."
"All four of us, meet up outside the school at eleven forty-five tonight," Jason said. "Alright?"
"Aren't there other painters?" Sky asked.
"Yeah, and I'm sure they've seen it too. Just a hunch, but I'm sure they'll be there too." Jason said.
"We should head home," Seto suggested. "School ended almost an hour ago."
Ty sat in his room at the orphanage, the dullest and most boring place in the city, watching the beginning of the sunset. There was a curfew for five PM sharp and you were only aloud an hour of free time outside after school everyday. Plus, you weren't aloud to have anything fun unless you had it when you were brought here or it was a gift from the caretaker. The caretaker was nice.
He stood up from his spot by the window and crawled under his desk. He opened up a secret compartment hidden under the desk. A bundle of clothes and a pair of sneakers fell from the compartment into his hands. He crawled back out from under the desk and quickly changed into the bundle of clothes and slipped on the sneakers.
It was a white shirt with neon green designs dancing along the rims and on the back, a pair of light blue jeans with ripped knees, and a bright green hoodie with a light gray hood and spray paint markings. His sneakers were painted over with navy blue, he had a greenish-yellow glove covering his right hand and a bracelet bound around his left wrist. He had a black mask that covered the lower half of his face and a pair of black and green headphones with a speaker installed into the microphone.
He grabbed the bag he had in his locker hours before from under his desk and climbed up onto the windowsill. Ty silently pushed the window open as the room darkened thanks to the final shreds of sunlight disappearing beyond the horizon.
With a glance towards his locked door, he slipped out into the darkness of the outside world.
School's finally over for me! Imma try to upload more constantly over the summer.
