Today my phone buzzed
and I started to smile
Because this was my first text,
in long while
But when I took out my phone,
what I saw made sniffle
There wasn't a text on my phone
because the battery had just gone low
and once I got home
I realized I have nothing to do
Because my friends all ditched me
For this hot guy named Drew.
I pondered around the house
looking for food
all I seen is some crumbs
and nothing fun to do.
So, I headed into the frontroom
to grab my cat
but all he did was hiss
and scratch my hand
I gave out a sigh
I twiddled my thumbs
my phone buzzed once again
I didn't dare look
