Prologue

Someone's POV:

"Now, it's time for credits. First of all, I would like to thank all the people out there who read and recommend my book. Without your support, I would not be here. Secondly, my thanks goes to the director of Fiore's very own "Socerrer Weekly", the book publisher and my boss, Jason."

I saluted Jason and he shouted, 'You're cool!'. Most of the audience laughed at his anxiety. He was the one who forced me to publish it after I showed it to him. Typical Jason.

"I'm grateful to everyone who supported me throughout the completion of 'The Will of Fire'. Starlight would never have gained life if it weren't for those people in my life, who I hold dear to my heart, who are my family. I want to thank not only those people who were at my workplace, supporting me with the hardest of times, thank you guys-

They all gave me a thumbs up, some even saying, 'We love you too!' and 'I can't kiss you because you're taken!' Well, they surely know how to make me smile.

"But those who were there with me at every step of my life. Sure, we had our differences in everything, but they stuck to me like a super glue and help me get over my depressing past."

I laughed at their stupidity. They were already howling and wolf-whistling. They'll never learn.

I tore the parchment having my speech.

"I don't need this. I'll speak what my heart tells me to."

I took a deep breath before unraveling a few things about my past.

"Even though my family wasn't there to support me, my friends, they were there. They became my true family. I would've never found my true self if it weren't for my bluenette best friend."

I looked towards her, smiling. She returned it with her own big one.

"I never would've savored the true colors of this world if it weren't for those four guys and their girls. They made me open my eyes and breath with the others."

I looked towards the spot where the 'icy popsicle', the 'Mr. I-have-a-fiancee', the 'metal head', the 'Titania', the 'creepy stalker', the 'bookworm', the 'lightning bolt' and the 'matchmaking devil' were seated. They all gave me a big thumbs-up.

"I never would've felt what it feels like to have a sisterly figure to take care of. You better keep her happy, Conbolt."

The little bluenette with two ponytails laughed while her 'man' crossed his heart.

"And finally, I never would've experienced what love and heartbreak feels like if it weren't for him. My fiance."

He gave his fiery signature grin that always made way to my heart and melted it.

"Starlight would never have been born if it weren't for you."

He nodded and mouthed 'I love you too'. I chuckled.

"I thank you all who gave me their love and encouraged me to move on and write Starlight's life. That's absolutely sweet of you. Thank you."
