-~NATSU~-
Leaving Luce with Gray all alone in that hospital bed made something churn in my stomach. As much as I trust both of them with my life, I didn't want to leave her alone and after that little bitchy stunt on Lucy that he pulled made me want to send him to this mission but sadly it is definitely not possible. Walking down the busy corridor of the hospital, I hurried to my car and sped to my house that I call my 'nest'. My house was a dream come true for an aesthetic lover. It was near the woods and beach. Both the sunrises and sunsets felt amazing. Cold breeze grazed my bare skin as soon as I got out of my car. Throwing the key in the air for the driver to catch, I nodded at him when he caught it midair and saluted me. That guy, Mest Gryder, was truly something else. He had good built and was really fast. Igneel had him protect this place and be the escort for Wendy.
"Wendy? You home?" I shouted after taking off my shoes. I was really exhausted and my knuckles hurt as fuck, but I still had energy to confront that bastard.
"Na- oomph," were the words that came out of Wendy's mouth when she tripped on Happy's tail. Happy hissed and ran to me.
"Hey there lil bud!" I took him in my arms, scratching him behind his ears and getting a satisfying purr out of him. Letting him run off to find Carla probably (Wendy's white cat who attracts my blue furry feline friend but she ignores him most of the time) I ruffled Wendy's hair and smiled.
"Don't tell me you got into a fight again." She quickly grabbed my hands and put them on full display in front of my face. "Don't give me that look. I know it's not from gym and neither were you at Gray's place. If you were, you wouldn't have bandages wrapped around your hands, particularly knuckles. Oh, and there are band-aids on your neck and there's a tiny wound on your head." So young and so sharp, that's Wendy Marvell Dragneel for you.
Well that's what you get when you let your 14 year old sister mess around with medical related stuff and especially under the care of Porlyusica.
"Wen, I'm not going to argue with you on this so can you just get me something to munch on quick in my room?" I ran upstairs to my already clean room (Luce rubbed off on me and Wendy knows not to mess with a few things in here so she cleans if she wishes), threw the laptop on the bed, laid down on my belly and switched it on. Logging in, I typed the password of my phone and called Jellal.
"I suppose it's about getting something for certain someone, isn't it?" Jellal voiced on the other side of the phone.
"Nah, I can buy gifts for Lucy by myself. Do me a favor and come to my place quickly. I owe you one." I hung up before he could even say 'Erza' and searched for info about Eucliffes. None of the files I saved under that name had any info about Sting that could've been useful for me. Slamming the laptop shut after I turned it off, I dashed downstairs and entered dad's office. This place is the most sacred place of this house. No one, I mean no one enters it till he's here but since he knows I'm a rule breaker and he didn't warn me the last time, I decided to look through the stuff he had.
Now, where are those family files?
His office was quite big with every type of records kept safely and neatly (courtesy of my mom). Even the biggest agencies couldn't have information stored like that. Ask me why he keeps it in here without locking it and I'd say, 'Because of his really amazing son'. Walking around the desk, I took out the family name book (where my mom wrote where the particular record of the particular family is) and searched for the name 'Eucliffe'.
Let's see...58, 59, 60, 61...Bingo!
Taking it out the file number 62, I sat on his chair and read everything from A to Z. Putting it back, I locked the room, ran back to my own, took my jacket and ran back downstairs, bumping into a very tired, head-scratching blueberry whose eyes widened and was about to say something but I beat him to it.
"I'm going to the hospital. Take care of Wen and this place for me."
"Natsu, what's going on?"
"Where are you going? I just made pasta for you." Wendy looked at me with confusion, then bowed lightly when she saw Jellal and smiled when Jellal waved and winked.
"He's probably going to-
"Shut up." I covered his mouth with my bandaged hand. I exactly knew what he'd say and I certainly didn't want Wendy to hear it.
For the love of my life and for all good things, Sting Eucliffe is to be confronted today.
"Later." Slamming the door shut and wearing my jacket, I jogged to my garage and sat on my most favorite motorcycle. I put my helmet on and rode to a clinic where I thought Sting would be.
'In case of any injury, the place where he'd go is Croland Clinic, near Jovlind Mall.'
Croland Clinic was besides a small pharmacy. The signboard was quite old but the inside, the building was neatly built and clean. I walked up to the reception and asked the directions to Sting's room. Her eyes widened but she secretly told me. His room was in the corridor to the right on the first floor, third door from the left. I slammed the door open, startling all three people in the room. I motioned for the nurse to get out with my head and she scurried away in three seconds.
The effect of Dragneel is too much to handle. Oh how I miss those days where I looked like a fresh gangster and made people wet their pants in a second.
"What the fuck do you want now, Natsu? Didn't he have enough of your fists?" Rouge yelled.
"Rouge wait," Sting held Rouge's hand back and pushed him to the chair and murmured, "You are here for a real good reason, aren't you?" He smirked and looked at me smugly, humor dancing in his eyes. I knew he was trying to tick me off, and trust me I was, but seeing that it's a clinic and he wanted me to react like he wanted me to, I just smiled and played cool.
"That's a very smart guess for your very bright head, Eucliffe." To which he scoffed and Rogue suppressed a smile by biting his cheek.
"You here to claim my fiancee as yours?" He barked, his left eye twitching in annoyance. Taking the advantage of the situation, I strolled to his bed, put my left hand on the headrest and ruffled his bandaged head with my right.
"Correction: I'm here to clarify that the girl we're both after is not an object that we could claim ours' but she is a dynamite and you better stay away from her because every single time I'll be the one besides her to explode, not you." I winked and he snarled.
"You'll pay for what you did to me, Dragneel." He growled and I tsked.
"If this didn't make you understand to not meddle in my affairs, know that you don't easily get away if you bother me." I turned around to look at him, thinking of messing his head up a little.
"By the way, what would happen if I let Mr. Eucliffe know about that little drug deal of yours- never mind, I got my answer." When I saw that mad look on his face, I grinned and winked, licking my lips.
"Also, don't forget to take your car from the race track on the outskirts on Magnolia." I said with humor tracing in my voice, later hearing a frustrated scream that said, 'fuck you Dragneel!' I laughed and exited the building.
Sitting on the bike, I breathed out a hearty laugh and shouted the four words I love to say.
'Never mess with Salamander!'
