What is happening to me? It seems like the tree I saw, last weekend, was tormenting me.
Today, it's a beautiful and I was planning to go out with my friend.
As I was walking out my house, I looked to my right to see a creature with gaping black holes in the place of eyes and its mouth was wide open, revealing a seemingly endless black hole.
I screamed and tripped up on my own feet.
It walked closer to my and waved a hand in front of my face, well I'm not sure you could call it that.
It was twisted into ways that it shouldn't, and displayed long black nails, that could tore through skin easily.
I screamed again and shut my eyes tightly.
"Clara?" I heard a familiar voice call out.
Opening my eyes, instead of seeing the gruesome-looking creature, I saw my friend, Bethany, her long brown hair slightly waving in the breeze.
"B-Beth?!" I shouted, looking around horrified.
"What is it? You look like you've saw a ghost." She replied, her midnight-blue eyes glinting with confusion and worry.
"W-where I-it g-g-go?" At this point, my normally confident and happy cerulean-blue eyes were completely filled with fright and horror.
"What are you talking about, what's 'it.'" Her head was tilted in confusion.
"N-nevermind." I replied, as she lent her hand.
"Alright! Let's go!" She pulled me along the pathway, whilst I was being dragged, I was still in a trance of fear and shock.
What happened? Did i hallucinate? Or was that an actually being?
As we were walking, we passed a park, I saw the creature again, staring at me with its deep black holes.
I clung onto Beth, my natural ruby-red hair jumping along with me.
"Seriously Clara, what's wrong?" Beth stated, completely serious, as she turned around to hug me.
"I-it's over t-there." I replied, pointing a shaky finger at the direction where the creature used to be.
"Whe-where'd it go?"
"Clara, you're just imagining things now. Seriously, you're scaring me." Beth now had a frightened look spread across her face, as if she was scared for her friend's sanity.
"I-I think, i-its go-gone now."
