Lucille Ball loose in Hollywood (again)

After the Mertzes

Ethel and Fred were lovely friends to the Ricardo's and they loved them very much until there death Fred not long before Ethel! Fred lived a life owning a apartment house in New York with the Ricardo's as tenets and Ethel was his lovely blond haired wife! Since the death of the Merzes new owners of the apartment houses moved in and Lucy and Ricky moved back to New York from Connecticut two years after Ethel had died. They figured it was hard to run a big house all by themselves without there neighbors and life long friend along to help them! Ricky's carrier had gone down hill he stopped singing at the Tropicana night club and sat at home with a stupid smirk on his face.

"Ricky!" Lucy snapped "Stop smirking like that and get off your butt and get a job!" 

"Lucy" he replied "I am much to old to stand on stage and sing!"

Lucy got up on the table and started to sing Babloo one of Ricky's top hits before he quit

"Would Fred want to see you on your bum all the time with a stupid expression on your face? Its been three years since he died and you have not been on stage since!" Ricky i miss wrecking your shows we had so many memory's on the Tropicana night club stage! Did we not? 

Ricky nodded "I suppose that we did but those days are over and they are not coming back and their is nothing you or anyone one else can do about it!"

Lucy rolled her eyes "Its 1983 and there are tons of new singers in the world who are not nearly as good as you! I mean look at Madonna a new singer she is and never will be able to sing babloo the way you can!"

Ricky gave Lucy a strange look "Madonna tries sings Babloo?" he asked 

Lucy shook her head "No but if she tried she couldn't!"

"You are just saying that to make me feel better nothing will be the same without Fred Metez!"

Lucy rolled her eyes "Fine forget i said anything but if Madonna starts singing babloo don't come crying to me!"    

Ricky continued to sit and think about the life with Fred and deep down inside Lucy was still thinking about Ethel "Who could ever forget my Ethel?" she thought looking over her shoulder at Ricky.
