Serenity's POV
I couldn't help but smile when omar took the blame. He was sooo heroic. I just stared at him until I saw Luke staring at me. I was about to tell him to mind his own business but I noticed the rest were staring at me too. Including Omar. I turned around and walked away blushing forgetting why we were here.
"Thanks you for telling me. Now hurry off to your peasa- I mean your parents." Jam's Mother said basically forcing us to get off her compound.
"What do we do now?" Bella asked. We all shrugged. It was getting dark side we decided to go home. That's when it started raining. Omar being the absolute amazing person he is gave me his jacket. We all walked off to our separate ways. Luke's and Bella walking together since they were neighbours.
Bella's POV
I was shivering in the rain as I kept glancing at Luke. Well his jacket. I imagined how nice the feeling of warmth would be wrapped in a cozy blanket watching youtube.
"Bella..." Luke said waving a hand in front of my face laughing at the fact that I just somehow put my body on autopilot.
"W-what?" I asked as I remembered what I was doing causing Luke to laugh even more.
"Were you even paying attention?" He asked. I nodded my head.
"Really? Didn't seem like it or else you wouldn't be completely calm right now." Luke told me as we kept on going in the rain. I was about to answer as Luke kicked a puddle making it splash all over me. I did the same time him and eventually it turned into a whole water fight. Suddenly we saw two policemen come up to us.
"Are you Bella Mcfrancis and Luke Rose?" The policemen asked us. We nodded our heads.
"Come with us." They said ad they started walking to their car. I looked at Luke who wouldn't budge.
"Bella, I heard that sometimes kidnappers pretend to be policemen." Luke whispered to me. He didn't need to say anything else. We both ran full speed to my house which was closer than Luke's. The policemen were following and shouting at us the whole time. My mother opened the door and hugged me as soon as she saw me.
"You're safe!" She said happily as the policemen came behind us. Luke backed away.
"We found her playing in a puddle together with her boyfriend." One policeman said.
"I'm not her boyfriend." Luke gritted through his teeth angrily and clenching his fists. So they were real policemen.
"Why did you call the police?" I asked. I then saw what time it was. It was 2am in the morning?! I guess with all the drama that had happened to Jam and coming back I never noticed just how late it was.
"Bella, you were playing with your friend in a puddle until 2am on a school night even?!" My mother said angrily. She then send me to my room. My brain being crazy then started to wonder what Luke told me when he said that I would have freaked out if I listened to him. Stupid me! I should have listened!
Luke's POV
The police took me back home to my parents. I didn't get in trouble. They were just happy that I wasn't kidnapped or something.
Serenity's POV
"Here." I told Omar as I gave him his Jacket back after school.
"Thanks. Bye!" He said kissing me in the cheek and leaving. That's right. He asked me out! We're dating!
"Never knew he would be brave enough to ask you out." A voice said which I kinda hated.
"And you were brave enough to shout it out to the whole school." My annoying best friend said. I turned around and it was Luke and Bella. Of course.
"So what you're just jealous that my crush asked me out!" I teased. Bella laughed.
"Really? I only have an imaginary crush and he has already asked me out so suck it!" Bella insulted back as we both laughed with Luke looking at us as if we were crazy people.
"I'm going." He said walking away as Bella ran after him.
Jam's POV
I was sitting on my hospital bed watching TV. The door opened but I didn't pay attention to the person because I thought it was a guest of one of my "hospital roommates". Ella came in with flowers and of course Pizza!
"I'm bringing my favourite ship Jizza back!" She laughed as she handed me the pizza.
"So how is everything with the wild chicks?" Jam asked as I smiled ready to tell her the good news.
"Well ever since your incident... the wild chicks and leopards are becoming... closer. Serenity is dating Omar and Mike isn't as annoying anymore. Faith and Laurance tease each other instead of fighting each other and Bella and Luke.... have become really good friends." I told her as she ate the pizza. She nodded at everything I was saying.
"Thanks goodness. At least there's a reason why I'm a broken glass of Jam right now." Jam laughed.
