[LILLYS POV]
Matthews been avoiding me all week. What is it? I havent said or done anything to annoy him. I kept thinking that question to myself over and over again. I saw him walking down the hallway during lunch and I gave him a small smile. He just looked at me and then turned around to talk to Tara, Katrina, and Chloe.
My friends were all off school today so I was alone. I went in the library at lunch and sat alone in the corner reading a book. Matthew and all of his friends saw me. I whispered to him,
''Matthew?''
He shrugged, and then slowly walked over to me, and asked me what I wanted.
I said back to him,
''Why are you ignoring me?''
He looked at me and said, ''Are you fucking kidding me Lilly? I heard what you said about Tara.''
I was so confused. I hadnt said anything about Tara. I dont perspifically like her, but I dont bitch about her behind everyones back.
I said back to him in utter shock,
''EXCUSE ME?''
''You called her a ugly slug''
''I said fuck all about your stupid friend.''
I picked up my bag, and tears were streaming down my face. I ran out the school door and went home. I saw all of the girls laughing at me. Matthew just looked at the space I was sitting in.
