"Oh come on Vi, it really isn't that big of a deal!"

"Not that big a deal? Not. That. Big. A. Deal? You kissed her! You kissed that... That... Broad! You kissed Gabby behind my back, planned an affair, and its no big deal?!" A hard cover copy of City of Ashes flew threw the air, just narrowly missing the head of her current target.

"Violet, baby, you know I'd never do anything to hurt you. We had a lot to drink, the guys were urging us on and I-" A tired, exasperated sigh passed his chapped lips before he spoke again.

"I made a mistake, come on everyone makes mistakes and you understand that more than anyone!"

A low growl resonated within her chest, her small and callused hands clenched into compound balls of fury. Her long nails digging into the heels of her palms, drawing tiny pools of the harsh metallic liquid that filled her veins. "You're right Simon, everyone makes mistakes," the enraged teen brought her fist to connect cruelly with the shorter boys jaw, a satisfying crack coming from the impact.

She smirked maliciously while rubbing her fist to soothe the dull aching that was drowned by the adrenaline coursing through her flaming body. "Mine was trusting you."

Simon fell to the ground with a hard thud, holding his swelling face before catching sight of the maddened look upon his attacker's face. And it was at this moment Simon knew: he fucked up. Bad.

As Violet knelt down beside the fallen boy, she tangled her slender fingers through his fine chestnut brown hair and pulled harshly so he was at her eye level. "I fought for you. Protected you. Stood for you. Now, I'll do the exact opposite. Everything and everyone you love will be at my mercy and I'll make sure they all know it was your fault. All. Your. Fault." Every word was spat out, like a poison that danced upon her razor tongue. Her intense brown eyes cutting into the silence that followed her words.

There was a loud buzzing in her head, the thumping of her heart the only indication that she was still human. Because her actions and words proved otherwise. A loud scream was torn from Simon's lips as his face was slammed into the floor, blood splashing onto the laminated wood as if to taunt him. Laughter bubbled from the mouth that once sang sweet melodies and recited personal poetry. Sickening, psychotic laughter that sent shivers down the spine.

Pure fear took hold of Simon as he attempted to pull himself free from the grip of the enraged six foot three female that held him down. Every nerve was on edge yet numb. He wanted to run, his mind yelled at him to, but he couldn't. Or rather, he didn't dare. He knew, somewhere in the back of his mind, that she wasn't lying. And that he was going to have to make a choice; either live and force everyone her cared about to suffer with him. Or die and save them all. But something told him, that Violet wouldn't let him die just yet.
