"No, that's not fair!" I said with an attitude. My mom Amanda was a pain sometime, but my dad Jim was easy going and fun. My mom had just grounded me because I yelled at my sister on vacation. My sister was annoying at sometimes but she was my best friend. Lilian is her name and she has brown hair, blue eyes, and freckles on her nose. Her face was like a fairies. Petite, heart like, and her eyes looked full of  life.

Mom's rule: on vacation no arguing. I had yelled so now I am in trouble. I stormed out of the house and went down to the ocean just to look at the water and take pictures. I was in photography classes once a week. I took a picture of the water glistening. I looked at my camera to see the picture I just took and saw a head. I looked up, and saw no one. "Hello? Is someone out there? Are you drowning?" I yelled. I saw the head pop up and come a little closer to me.

"Hello," the girl said. She sounded elegant and proper. "Hello?" I said. "Sorry, I took a picture and saw you in the picture and when I looked up I didn't see you. I thought you were drowning." She laughed and her laugh was so unusual, but it was interesting. "I'm Marlee." The girl with the purplish pinkish hair. She had a starfish on the side of her hair. "I'm Alaina." I said smiling at this girl. Wow your hair is beautiful. To be honest I hated my hair the golden blonde always shows, and I wanted to try something different. "So why are you out here?" Marlee asked. "

"I have photography classes, so I am out here. Also my mom is being unreasonable so there's another reason."
"Wow that's interesting. Can you maybe take a picture of me sometime?"
"I kind of did already, but if you want more of a picture I can do it." I said hoping she'd say yes.
"Sure, just I have to get home. See you the same time tomorrow?" She asked me, but before I answered she was gone.
Why was she swimming? Well there are a lot of beach house rentals out here so we could be neighbors.  I went back inside and Lilian was crying. "What's wrong?" I asked.
"Mom wants us to go home!!!" Lilian said and started crying even harder to where she could barely catch her breath.
"I'll talk to her. I'll make it all better." After I said that her frown turned into a big smile.
"Mom, I'm sorry I was arguing with Lilian. She can be annoying when she says things over and over. You had siblings, you should understand."
"Just wait out there and we can all talk." My dad came out, but not my mom. He got out his phone behind where he told Lilian and I to sit and waited. "Three, Two, One, and mom walked out with a puppy. She was a golden doodle and was barking at me. She was waging her little tail and smiling. I knew I loved her already. I pet her for a minute or two but Lilian was in LOVE. She would not put the poor thing down.
"Lilian, put the dog down so we can pick out a name for her." I said.
"What if we name her Peanut!"
          "I can't touch her. I'm allergic" I said
"Ya, then she's all mine! Lilian said giggling.
           "What about Bailey?" I asked.
"I like it!" Everyone chimed in.
"Okay then the dogs name is Bailey." My mom said smiling.
Bailey came over to me and started whining for me to pick her up. I bent down to pick her up but she dodged my reach. She came back and started whining again. So I thought I should go down to reach her. Bailey moved out of my reach. She was playing with me, and she knew the way to do it.

I went to go to bed and I closed my door so if Bailey got up she wouldn't go in my room since mom said no dogs in my room. I heard whining from Bailey and scratching at my door. I texted my mom: Can I let the dog in my room? She's whining at my door. My phone lit up from a text from my mom and it said: sure.
I got up and opened my door. Bailey did a little snooping around first and then tried to hop into bed. I got a little chair and set it next to my bed, so she can hop up to my bed. She did as I thought and snuggled right by my feet.
I was going to put Bailey on her leash the next day and have Marlee meet her.

I woke up and my family and I all went swimming and talking. Bailey loved swimming we put her in a doggie life jacket and she was swimming circles. It was time to go inside and I decided that I'd say that I was going to take pictures, but really I would be talking to Marlee. "Do you need the dog?" Mom asked. "Ya taking pictures of the dog in the ocean." I said. "Be careful!"
        "I will mom love you."
I saw Marlee's head pop up out of the water. "Hey," I said. "Well hello." Marlee said to Bailey and I. We talked for an hour about girl things, what boys do that are gross, or that bug us, dogs, animals, and other things. "Hey, I got to go, but whenever you come tomorrow, don't bring the dog. You won't be able to do the activity with a dog." She said. "Okay?" I said in confusion and then left.
"Get good pics sweetheart?" Dad asked.
"Of course she did Jim, she is a natural." Mom said winking at me.
"Yup, Bailey and I are going to look at all the pictures." I said. I did take some pictures, but she moved a lot so I couldn't get my camera to focus.
It was time to get ready for bed and I went fast to sleep.
