When Luke is upset he will cuddle with either you or Pengy. Usually you will notice he's upset when he's frowning a lot. You cheer him up by hugging him and talking it over.

When you're upset, he cuddles with you while you rant. Pretty soon afterwards, you arent upset anymore and now you just fall
cuddle until you guys fall asleep.
