"Once upon a time in a land not so very far away there was a special girl named Violet" Enoch said as I sat down on Lilies bed.
"That was you mommy!" Lily said with excitement.
"Why yes, yes it was. Now Violet had strange powers that no one could understand. Everyone was scared of her. No one loved Violet, until one day when a strange bird flew into her bedroom," said Enoch with excitement.
*flashback*
"It was a very gloomy day at my home back in Cairlholm. I was packing my bags because I was planning on running away. I don't belong here, I thought to myself. People called me a freak, Satan, and so many other horrible things. I just couldn't take it anymore. I had to get away from here. So I grabbed my suitcase and packed all of the things that I would need. I didn't know where I was going to go. All I knew was that any where would be better than here. Just as I was zipping my suitcase up there was a tap on my window. I looked over to find a bird. I don't know what it was, but something in my gut told me to follow the strange bird. So, I followed the bird out of my house and to the beach. Then, I followed it through a cave all the way to a huge house that had small children playing around in the front yard. Before I knew it the bird was gone. I looked up at the house in astonishment, to find a handsome young man glaring down at me through a window high up in the house. I walked up to the front door and nocked. The door opened to a tall slender woman with black hair and a black/blue dress.
"Miss Peregrine, delighted to meet you." said the woman to whom I now know to be Miss Peregrine.
"That was the day that you met Miss Peregrine!" Evangeline said excitedly.
"Yes it was. That was also the day that she met me!" Enoch said. Evangeline was now sitting in his lap, while Lily was sitting in mine.
"Miss peregrine was just the beginning to a wonderful life," I said.
