After the movie, we decided to walk home, considering the movie theatre was only a few blocks away from Chandlers house, and there was street lights and alot of houses nearby with lights on so its not like we'd get mugged or something.
"So, how'd you like the movie?" Chandler asked me
"Well, i will never look at clowns and sewer drains the same again." i told him.
He laughed," i'm glad you had fun, 'cause i sure did." he said while putting his arm around me.
i blushed, good thing we're in the dark, or he'd laugh at me for sure.
to our surprise, while we were walking home to Chandler's, we saw Sam outside messing around with his other friends. Chandler took his arm away from me.
"Hey Sam!" he waved to him and walked over to start talking to his friends, i stood over to the side, trying not to act awkward, since this was me and chandlers night.
"U-um. i guess i'll see you later.." i tried to say to Chandler. he didn't even see me. They were too busy playing basketball. i quietly snuck away and hid behind a bush.
I should just leave, he doesn't even know im still here. i could avoid the awkwardness and just leave. so i did what my concience told me to do. Besides, Chandler is my friend and i doubt he's trying to hurt my feelings. He has friends, i have friends. I'm already clingy and we aren't even dating yet.
Did i just say 'yet'.
i pushed that thought out of my head, like he'd ever date a girl like me. i got out of my hiding spot to see if they were still playing. It was only Sam and Chandler now. he still didn't notice i was gone. I guess its not hard to, im really quiet. so i dont blame him. I heard them talking about something.
"Well yeah i like her, but i dont know if she still likes me back. I mean, she broke up with me then never talked to me again. Then a couple days ago, she started texting me. Why do girls always do this to me, even though ive only dating two girls, its still confusing the heck out of me." I heard Chandler say, he must be talking about Rachel. when he thought she never loved him.
"I dont know what to tell you. Ive never dated anyone and i dont plan on it until ive met the right person. Which i think i have met, but i dont want to get into that kind of stuff right now." I heard Sam say while he shot a basket. and made it.
"Thanks for the helpful advice. Whos the lucky girl?"
"Someone..you know her. But you know, shes yours so ill back off"
"No..is it who i think it is? Rachel..?"
"uh no. Kelsey. but i bet she likes you more, since you took her out on a daaate" he put emphasis on the word date.
I saw Chandler turn bright red, "Hey, i should get going and Im pretty sure Kelsey already went home. "
"Later dude, good luck with your girl issues"
i went to a different hiding spot so Chandler wouldnt see me. ill leave when im sure nobody is around. after a few minutes, i finally ran home. i had to text my friends about this. immediatly
