Not A Monster

(Backstory: Mika has been. Captured by the humans and Megan is chosen to study him)

*Study cell*

Mika sighed as he stared at the opposite white wall as he sat on the white floor against the white floor. Basically, every thing was white. He sat with a chain linked around his bare ankle connected to the wall and with a shock collar around his neck. He was fully clothed in white clothing provided by the staff.

On the other side of the wall he was staring at wall the 5'5 tall brunette that was assigned to him. She observed him through the two sided glass wall with her clipboard in hand.

"Hmm... he seems to notice my presence. I guess it's time to engage him," she sighed as she scanned her eye and a door opened into the cell. As soon as she walked in the vampire lunged at her but was immediately yanked back by the chain. He clasped his neck as he gasped for air.

"B...bl.oo.d," he gasped out in a raspy voice. Megan didn't so much as flinch. She glanced down at her clipboard with the vampires stats.

"My name is Megan Thomas and I will be your assigned caretaker from now on. Basically, I am to study you until your death. On your papers it says that Hiragi-sama has ordered that you be deprived of blood to study the effects. I can see that its taking a toll on you already." She sighed again. She felt kinda guilty having to deprive him of his life source. Secretly having a vampire friend herself has caused her to develop a sort of sympathy towards the race. Right now, she felt extremely sorry for the vampire before her. "Hmm Mikaela... Hyakuya. Wow. A vampire and a Hyakuya? You've really had it rough." Then she sighed for the third time today. "Well Mikaela, I hope we can get along though this." She didn't expect an answer back. His vocal cords probably wouldn't work anyways. She walked a bit closer to the vampire but was still out of his range. She bent down to eye level. She looked to see his sparkling red eyes behind his blonde bangs. "Beautiful..." Suddenly, the vampire jumped towards her only to be pulled back by the chain once again. "Woah... close one," she whispered as she palmed the shock collar remote in her hand.

'I don't think I wanna shock him especially if I want him too trust me,' she thought as she stood back up. 'I'd better go. Looking at him makes me want too release him.'

She walked out of the cell as the door closed behind her and she returned home.

She sighed as she held the door knob to her home.

"I hope Ranidallx hasn't made a mess again," she said as she opened the door. Inside she saw her vampire roomate Ranidallx laying on the couch playing some handheld game. Her dark skinned face fully focused on the game.
"~Heyyy Meeegan~" said the vampire childishly without looking away from the device.

"Hey Rani. Where'd you get that? You didn't steel it did you?" Megan inquired.

"Steel it?! No .. I mean.... Not this time no," she replied pouting. "I found it while I was searching old abandoned homes for cool stuff. I think its called a um... PSP." Megan sighed as she shook her head and walked into their small kitchen a grabbed a water bottle from the fridge. "So what's new at work doc?" Rani asked still not looking up from her game.

"Hmm... they've assigned me to a recently captured vampire," she said before drinking some of her water then placing it on the counter. Rani finally looked up from her game.

"Oooo~~ a recently captured vampire huh. Is he hot?" Megan scoffed.

"Of course you'd ask that."
