Damn but it is true that dogs are man's best friend.

Chapter 7

Grady's POV

I was all ready to go to bed and let sleeping dogs lie, for tonight at least. But that was when we noticed that this place only had 1 bedroom with a king size bed in it. I turned to look at her as her eyes bugged out from seeing the flower petals on the bed along with jells and condoms and "Oh shit" she said when she took a box that was on the bed and put it behind her back.

I started to laugh and she glared at me. "What, you should have seen your face. Your eyes bugged out. Now I believe what they say about pets resembling their owners." She gasped and hit my arm with the small box she was hiding triggering whatever was inside to start to vibrate.

She turned all shades of red and well, shit I started to laugh all over again. "Let me see what that is" I said as I tried to reach around her.

"No stay away" she said turning more red as the thing vibrated on. Oh I knew damn well what that was but I loved getting her mad.

She ran out of the room and I chased her down. I grabbed her and she lost her balance taking me down with her. In mid air I flipped us so she landed on me and not the other way around. "Oomph" the air got knocked out of my lungs as she landed on me.

"Are you ok Grady?" she asked and I had my eyes closed. I could hear the worry in her voice but it took all I had to keep still as she wiggled higher to see my face. Or at least that's what I think since my body was too busy feeling her on me.

"Grady are you ok?" she asked again and I could feel her breath fan my cheek bone. It would be so easy to just reach up and kiss her. She would be so mad and probably hit me again. Oh fuck it, no pain no gain.

I opened my eyes and sure enough she was above me and I grabbed her head with my hands and kissed her. She was confused and I tugged on her hair enough for her to gasp and I plundered her mouth. Oh sweet mercy why the fuck did I stay away from her.
