I Know You

<Mitch's POV>

I was trying to find my way to Starbucks because I was supposed meet Jerome there 15 minutes ago. Suddenly I am shaken by the vibrating in my pocket.

"Mitch, where are you? It's been over 10 minutes!" Jerome's voice yelled into my ear.

"Sorry bud. I'm trying to find it!" I could tell he was a little angry with me, but in a jokingly way.

"Well ask someone for directions! And pick up some cute girls on the way! I gotta table for 4."Jerome was always wanting to flirt with girls.

"Shut up Jerome!" Sometimes he could be a little annoying. I hung up and saw the most beautiful girl I could ever imagine. She was a dirty blonde with what looked like blue eyes. She was walking with her friend and I decided to go up and talk to them.

"Excuse me girls. Do you know where Starbucks is?" I was trying to be brave but I was a little nervous to talk to them. I'm kind of a shy person but when you get to know me im loud and crazy. We talked a little bit, found out were all in the same first class, and then they asked me where I moved from and why I'm here.i found out her name was Sawyer and her friends name is Skylar. Sawyer. What a unique name. But she made it sparkle. I was a little nervous when I said what I do because she kept staring at me with those beautiful eyes. Does she recognize me? Is she a fan? Would I date a fan? Forget it, I probably won't ever get the chance to call her my girlfriend. We finally made it to Starbucks and Jerome was waiting impatiently at a table for four. When he saw Sawyer and Skylar, he propped his head up and motioned for us to come over.

"Hello girls! I'm Jerome and you are?" Jerome started to wrap his arm around Skylar's shoulder but she caught it Midair.

"Not interested" we all laughed as Jerome made a pouty face.

"We don't have much time so let's get coffee and start towards class." Sawyer spoke up. We all walked up to the cashier. Sawyer and Skylar ordered Cotton Candy Fraps and I got a Mocha Cookie Crumble. Jerome got a Vanilla Bean Frap and I watched as Sawyer took out her wallet. I stepped in and put 10 bucks in front of her. She looked back at me.

"I can pay for it! I'm a big girl now!" She said poking my stomach playfully.

"As they always say, pay for the pretty girl's food" I smiled as I saw her cheeks turn pink.

"Aww thanks Mitch! You think I'm pretty?!" Jerome flutters his eyelashes and flips his hair. I chuckled to myself without saying anything. We started walking towards class and the girls started chatting by themselves. I didn't wanna get in there conversation so I told Jerome to step back a little.

"Damn, look at those bodies" Jerome was eyeing up Sawyer and Skylar. I wanted to slap him. Suddenly, Sawyer turned around.

"I'm sorry, Jerome, did you say something?" It was obvious she heard him.

"Yea babe. You have an amazing body. I'd tap that" Jerome was so snotty and rude. I could tell Sawyer was about to slap him too. She looked at me and I mouthed sorry and she gave me a slight smile.

We got to class about 2 minutes early and got 3 seats together. I was ready to give up my seat when the teacher came in and made Jerome sit in front since he was sitting on Delbert's desk. At the end of class I decided to walk with Sawyer as Skylar and Jerome walked ahead of us.

"So I was wondering if you were busy tonight." I said shyly as I didn't exactly look her in the eye.

"Well, depending on homework, I'm usually free after 4. Wanna grab pizza or something?" She kept looking forward but at the end she looked at me for a slight moment.

"Sounds good to me. What room are you in?"

"330. It's the closest room to the main doors of the dorm building." She seemed happy about that." It's also my birthday"

"Nice! So pick you up at 4:30?" I was excited to see her again.

"See you then!" She waved and caught up to Skylar who was slowly walking away from Jerome. I walked up to Jerome.

"how'd it go?" Jerome was obviously curious about how my talk with Sawyer went.

"Great! We have a date tonight."

I had a huge grin on my face.

It was a dream to go out with her, but I'm living it now.
