This week we learned about the Graphic Organizers are visual and graphic display that depicts the relationships between facts, terms, and or ideas within a learning task. Graphic organizers are also sometimes referred to as knowledge maps, concept maps, story maps, cognitive organizers, advance organizers, or concept diagrams. Their are 3 types of graphic organizer, First the Concept Maps begin with a main idea (or concept) and then branch out to show how that main idea can be broken down into specific topics.Second the Matrix(Matrices) is a rectangular array of numbers, symbols, or expressions, arranged in rows and columns. and Last the Plot Structre, Every story must have a beginning. The start, or exposition, is where the characters and setting are established. During this part of the novel, the conflict or main problem is also introduced.
Then we also discussed about Journalism. Journalism came from a latin word Diurna which means "Daily", The Journalism has 3 Kind of Publication. The written, oral and visual. Under the written was newspaper, Under the oral was broadcasting and Under visual was photo journal.
Then we read an article about Janitor fish or sucker mouth fish (pterygoplicthys paradilis) by Raymond Joseph S. Amurao, Mr. Amurao is a student from marikina science High school, He made the Janitor fish oil Biofuel.
We also dicussed the Parts of Campus Newspaper , First the front page, Second Feature page(Heart), third Editorial Page(Mind), Fourth Sports page and lastly the Science page.
