Today is the first day in the new school.The world is going upside down because yesterday Mal came out the she is bi.She said she had a big crush on this girl in New York named Sam."Jared Grace get your butt downstairs NOW",I jumped off my bed and ran downstairs.When I got there Mal and Simon were eating breakfast,and aunt Lucy was play a game of chess with Thimbletack.My mother was reading a letter from my dad.My dad and mom got divorced."um.....Mal,boys listen your father wants me to sign a paper giving him full custody of you guys or he will.....sign the abandonment papers."There was a long silence then Mal said,"I'm staying with mom,"Simon looked at me,"us too."
