Chapter 5: practice

And gene started to pull me closer and closer ,I could feel his breathe touching my lips and I pulled away
"W-w-wait! It's not practice time!!" I said
"Then I look forward for practice time~" gene said while winking
"UGGGGGH!" I grunted
I got home.
And my mom ran to me
"WHY DO YOU HAVE EARS AND TAILS?!" My mom yelled worried
"Don't worry mom it was just a potion"i said assuring her
"WHO DID THIS YOU?!" She yelled
"There was an accident during sorcery.." I said
"Ok just be more careful ok?" My mom said
"Ok" I responded, I kissed her on the cheek and I went up stairs I got out my laptop and started to write the lines, I printed them

Next DAAAAAAAAAAAY

I got to school ready to practice ,I went to Laurence to tell him we should practice
"Oh hey gorgeous, already missed me~?" Laurence said
"Ugh ,no ,we just need to practice ,meet me at the back of the school" I said
I went to gene, the trickiest of them all, I saw gene with his friends and walked up to him
"Why hello there shorty" the girl said

"Yeah I've heard about you three, just come to the back of the school" I said

I walked to the back of the school to see Laurence sitting on the grass and gene leaning on the wall
"I'm here!" I said to get they're attention
"O-oh okay c-can I have I look at the lines" gene said ,I gave him his lines and I gave Laurence his. Laurence walked over to us to practice
"Ok gene you go first" I said
"My love! I have come here to have your hand in marriage!" Gene said reading his lines
"Non sense, I should have her hand in marriage" Laurence said reading his lines
"We shall have a competition! Who shall ever win will get my hand in marriage!" I said reading my lines

After the competition

"Gene Is the winner!" I said reading my lines
"Haha!" Gene said reading his lines
"N-no this cannot be!" Laurence said reading his lines
"I am sorry Laurence ,but gene is the winner" I said reading my lines
"The wedding will be tomorrow ,but I am sorry!" I said reading my lines
Laurence walks off screen

"I can't believe it! I actually won!" Gene said reading his lines and then this is where he would kiss me...crap I'm not ready! He leaned in to kiss me, he gave me a peck on the cheek (A/N i am so evil hueheuehue)
And he hugged me tightly and he pulled away from the hug
I read my lines "we shall seal our love with a kiss!" I said reading my lines
oh my Irene ! I hate this!
"Can we just skip the kiss part and just do it at the play?" I asked (not part of my lines)
"N-" Laurence interrupted gene
"YEAH! LETS SAVE IT FOR THE PLAY FOR YOU KNOW SURPRISE!!" Laurence said while twitching his eye and fake smiling
"Y-YEAH!!" I agreed with Laurence
"Awww but I was exc-" I interrupted gene ,I placed ,my pointer finger over his mouth
"Ah, shhhh no whining" I said
"Let's just get back to the play!" I added

Tomorrow...(in the play)
After the wedding...

"Why am I always alone? Why can't I just have one girl love me...?"

We go back to me and gene

"Y-Y/N I-I'm so sorry I-" gene said
"What is it?" I asked
"I-it's Laurence h-he committed suicide..." Gene said
"N-no ,h-he was alone since child hood, I was his only friend... A-and he had a crush on a girl....she loved someone else.." I said

The bell rang that meant it was time for class ,so we ran back inside and I went to my home room ,and saw some of my class mates talking or should I say whispering, I started to draw and heard..
