Time skip to lunch

After unpacking some of my things and also getting to know my female teammates better we hear Chris say that it was lunch time over the loud and static filled speakers outside our cabin. We get to the mess hall and get, well I actually don't know what it is it was like this weird grey slop I also notice that there are our team logos on them so I assumed that we were supposed to sit at our team tables. I was kinda disappointed that I could not sit with Zoey, Mike, and Cam but I still got to sit with Dawn and (f/n) so I really could not complain to much but Dawn and (f/n) sat on one side of the table leaving the seat next to me empty. I was hoping that if sat there it would be Scott but sat all the way at the other end of the table instead all alone. The seat next to me was eventually taken thought, it was taken by Brick and like I said in earlier today he was kinda cute. I looked over at him to see him poking at the slop and decided to defuse the tension by making a joke about it. (I just want to apologize if your dad is not in the military or more specifically the army but just go with it please and bear with me on this) hey (f/n) this food looks even worse then to food on the base! I giggle after I finish my statement and (f/n) bursts out laughing. From the corner of my eye I can see Brick stare at me for a bit and then chuckle. You've lived on a military base before? He asked me and I nod in response yep that's how me and (f/n) met actually our dads both got stationed at the same base and the rest is ancient history. I giggle again and I notice he blushes a tiny bit and then turns back to his slop. I look over to (f/n) and Dawn to see Dawn trying to calm (f/n) down cause she was fangirling. When (f/n) finally calms down she mouths I ship it at me. I roll my eyes and then look back towards Brick. So have you ever lived on a base I asked him and he responds by nodding and then going into a long story about some of his adventures in the army. After about four stories of his (f/n) interrupts him by asking how old he is. He obviously had to be over 17 for him to have been in the army. Oh I'm 21, dang it I think in my head I was going to make him my back up plan if Scott rejected me of if he got eliminated! Since I was only 17 dating Brick would be illegal cause I was technically still a minor and he was an adult... (F/n) asked Brick another question, so how long were you in the military? He thought for a bit and then replied, I've been in the army since I was 17 so about four years.(f/n) nodded, ok and do you plan on re-enlisting after this? Once again he thought for a bit and the answered yeah I think I will I mea- why is Scott staring over here at us? Dawn interrupts Brick and I look over in the direction of Scott to see that she is indeed correct about him staring over at us. Scott ad I made eye contact and he quickly turned away, if I hadn't have know better I could have sworn I saw a blush on his face before he turned away. I think he was staring at (y/n), (f/n) said smirking. I glare at her and roll my eyes whatever. We all go back to our conversation but I still keep noticing Scott staring at us occasionally. So you guys have asked me a lot of questions I believe it is my turn to be the question asker Brick said it was pretty obvious that he was trying to sound cool. So how old are you three? Dawn was the first to answer revealing that she was 19, then it was (f/n) stating that she is 18 and then last but not least me. Oh I'm 17 I say I look but at Brick to see that he looks a little disappointed but then my attention is thrown back to (f/n) as she then smirks and says "but don't worry Brick (y/n) will be 18 in less than a mouth". I look over at Brick to see him full out blushing and I face palm. I look back at (f/n) and Dawn to see Dawn giggling and (f/n) looking mighty please of her self. I look back over at Brick and quickly apologized for (f/n)'s behavior. Heheh yeah she kinda has this obsession with trying to get me a boyfriend. His blush was now slowly fading, o-oh it's no big deal he says. All of a sudden I am started by the annoying noise of a chair being dragged across the wooden floor of the mess hall. I turn around to see Scott waking in our direction dragging an nasty looking chair behind him. When he gets the the very end of the table where I was siting at he put his chair at the end of the picnic bench like table and took a seat staring at us all. Turn all of a sudden Dawn speaks up, What in the world do you want Scott! She spit his name out like it was vile poison. Scott glares at her but then turns to look at me and smirks making me blush I turn away and notice that both Dawn and Brick are glaring at Scott. Scott just shrugs it off and replies lazily. What can't I have a decent conversation with my new friend here he says pointing at me. I look back at Dawn and Brick to see them both looking at me shocked. (Y/n) I think you should re-think you choice in friends Scott is not someone you should trust his aura is very dark and disturbing, Dawn says while Brick nods in agreement. Yeah (y/n) you seem like a great person who deserves better friends then Scott Brick adds in. I just sigh, listen guys I understand that your just trying to look out for me and all but I would like to be friends with Scott and if he really turns out to be the way you guys say he is then he's got a whole lot of pain it his future, am I right (f/n) I say looking per to (f/n) who excitedly nods her head. Yep you sure are (y/n), I giggle and look back over to Scott who looks kinda nervous until he notices me lookin get at him and he then changers his expression to a cocky and smug smirk. Scott was about to say something else but we were informed that lunch was over and it was time to go back to our cabins for a bit and get to know our teammates even better. I looked back at all the people sitting with me a gave them all a big smile. Yeah this isn't going to be so bad I think I'm going to enjoy me time her on the island with these crazy new friends of mine and who knows maybe one of them will even become more then my friend I think as I walk back to the cabin with my new friends by my side

A/n: boom there's another chapter done for you lovely beautiful people of wattpad anyway guys I'm also thinking about making a Scott X reader X Brick highschool au or maybe a soulmate au where the reader is special and had two soulmates but don't worry cause I have a lot of inspiration for this story and anyways bye guys see ya next time!
