"Dawn Hale" they called my name as I stood up. I walked to the middle of the gym and got into the chair as my first position for the tryouts. Im so nervous right now.

What if I don't make the team? What am I suppose to do for the rest of the year? I can try for cheer its about the same as dance, except they think just because your a cheerleader means your a whore. Snap out of it.

"are you ready?" the captain asked. I nodded.

She pressed play and I began the routine.

I was about done with it when I saw Danielle in the corner of the room as I was spinning. Since I didn't spot on my turn I felt a little dizzy but shook it off so I can fall into my right split as my final position.

"Very good, you needed to spit on one of those turns" the captain said as I just nodded.

Two other girls danced after me then tryouts where over.

"Ok the ones who made it will be posted on the board in the front tomorrow morning, you are dismissed." The coach said.

"Umph" I said as I bumped into Danielle. "what are you doing here?" I asked a little harsh.

"well since where going to your house today I decided to wait for you to go to your house with you but I didn't exactly knew you liked to dance especially that well." He said

"Well than lets go then." I said as I walked out the front doors. As he got in his car I got in mine and drove to my house.

When I pulled up to the drive way I got out of the car and opened up the door to my house. I turned around to see if Danielle was right behind me. He had just finished pulling up on the drive way.

I unlocked the door as he walked up to me. We walked in and heard laughter from outside in the back. I walked up to the back doors and saw two faces I haven't seen in a long time. I went out slowly smiling at them and went behind my parents where they were siting on some chairs.

"hi" I said shyly."Oh my god Dawn you've grown so much! How have you been Dawn?" Daniels mom asked.

"Good and you guys I haven't seen you in years!" I said

"Were good. Your mom was telling us that your very good at dancing and that you just finished tryouts today, did you make it?" She asked

"I doubt it I was horrible but I hope I did make it. I wont know until tomorrow morning." I said

"Oh I'm sure you will make it." She said

"Well I'm going to go head up and freshen up I'm all sweaty." I said as I opened the door to go inside the house.

As I got in my room I went into the and got some clothes from the closet and got into the shower.

I put the towel in my hair and went to my room.

But I stopped as I got in seeing someone in my room. The head turned around and saw it was Daniel.

"What are you doing in here." I said confused and a bit angry. "Your mom let me in" he said causally.

"Whatever" I said rolling my eyes. "Ok thats it why do you hate me so much" He said frustrated.

"Oh I don't know can it be that you said we couldn't hang out because I'm a girl?" I said with an attitude.

"That was eight years ago I was a stupid little kid!" He said "I don't care I bet the way you would act so different around me then what you would with your guy friends!" I screamed

He turned around in frustration. "You know what your problem is you hold grudges it was eight fucking years ago!" He yelled

"Whatever get out of my room." I told him ask calmly as I could.

He got out and slammed the door shut.

I laid down on the bed trying to think of something to do that doesn't involve in having to talk to Daniel.

I heard my phone ringing on the end of my bed. I got up and grabbed it.

"Hello?" I said

"Hey Dawn you want to come to the Mall with us in thirty minutes?" Jacky asked through the phone.

"Yea sure let me just ask my mom"

"Ok" I ran down the kitchen stairs opened the door and asked my mom.

"Hey mom can I go to the mall with Jacky and Valerie?" "Yea sure honey get a couple bucks from my wallet." She said. I looked around the patio to if Daniel was outside, which ye wasn't. Not my problem. "Thanks Mom!"

"Hey Jacky she said yes just honk when your here ok?" "Yea sure, see you seen" she said and hanged up.

I ran upstairs and put my shoes on, put my make up on and put my hair in a half ponytail. Then I heard a honk outside.

I went to my mom and dad's room and got some money. Ran down the steps to the front door. As I was about to open the door I heard Daniel ask. "Where are you going?" He asked "out" I simply said and just walked outside into the car.

Ok I know I haven't updated in like for a month. I really don't have a really good excuse unless you count being obsessed with an old T.V show on Netflix but yea. I'm REALLY sorry I promise I will try to update more often.
