Chapter Two - Just Friends

"Josh?" The girl Said trying to act sassy. "Oh hey babe" Josh said turning to her and kissing her. "oh sorry Olivia I forgot to tell you, this is my girlfriend, Brittany" he said smiling proud. "oh, well nice to meet you Brittany" I said trying not to look sad, I knew I liked josh from the start, he is just so nice, cute, funny. everything I ever wanted. "well me and Brittany are going to go to class, have fun at your first day!" he said walking away holding Brittanys hand, "yeah have fun" Brittany said and looked back at my and smiled fake.

I got to room 13, it said it would be my math class so i decided to go there. "Oh Hello?" the women said that is teaching the class. "Hi.. I'm Olivia I'm new here and I was wondering if I could just have a seat? my sheet said that this would be my first class." she smiled at my in joy, "oh Olivia! I heard of you, yes yes have a seat" she said getting exited "okay thank you" I said and smiled back. All the boys where awkwardly staring at me, do they like me? or think I'm a total freak. I sat down taking out my math text book I got before I went to school, "So Olivia, tell us about yourself, where are you from?" she said looking interested "well uhm, I'm from LA" I said not knowing what to say next. "oh awesome! so what do you like to do?." she said looking curious. "well I'm really into art and stuff like that." "oh awesome! any one wanna ask any questions?" she said getting exited. This one dude with a football jacket and a hat on with spikes blond hair put up his hand, "yes, Jacob?" the teacher said accepting his request. "are you single Olivia?" he said laughing after and winking to me. "uhm....." I said lifting up an eyebrow and not responding as I just went out of a massive break up. "BZZZZZZZZP" the bell rang as everyone got up, I put my stuff in my bag and went out the door not answering anyone. I passed by a few cute boys but not as cute as Josh, I couldn't stop thinking about it as Brittany came up to me. Her face looked familiar as I couldn't remember what I knew her from, she smiled at me and said "Hahah you think that your going to get Josh, yeah no he's mine, so back off sweetie." she walked away putting her bag strap on her shoulder. I didn't have enough time to say a word. I looked at my piece of paper thinking of Josh. My locker was locker 709. I got to my locker and seen it was a nice shiny one and was cleaned out. I put my lock on it. I grabbed my supplies from my bag and sort of decorated my locker as a girl walked up to me. "excuse me Olivia?" she said smiling looking at me. "Yes?" I said looking over to her and smiling back. She said to me " I'm Amanda, I heard your the new girl, and I just wanna make you feel more welcome" she said smiling and holding her books, "we'll thank you!" I said smiling and seeing that her locker was next to mine. it was silent as I put up a calendar of one direction in my locker. "oh my gosh!! you like one direction!?!?" she said looking surprised, "o my god yes!" we started looking through my music on my phone of all there songs as we became like best friends. "Olivia?" I turned around as I heard a deep voice and seeing josh behind me. "oh hey." I said smiling. "uhm can I talk to you in private quickly please?" he said grabbing my hand in a playfullish way. "uh yeah sure" I looked at Amanda giving her the one minute look as I started walking with josh, I had no clue where he was taking me. we ended up in the back of the school as he sat down on the pavement leaning against the brick wall. "uhm well I kinda needed someone to talk to.." He said "oh okay well I'm here for you" I said smiling and trying not to look in his eyes, it would be obvious that I like him. "well Brittany hates me.." he said looking at the ground. "Your Brittany?" I asked in shock, "she's not my Brittany any more, Olivia." he said sighing and running his hands through his perfect straight brown hair that matched his perfect brown eyes. "oh I'm sorry.." I said looking sad, on the inside I was screaming yes!. Soon then the principle came out and seen Josh and I sitting there skipping class. "Hey kids!!" he said not looking to happy.
