I took a moment to think, I had a few spare. Floor four, the screaming stopped, scratchy throat. Floor three, stopped struggling, weak muscles. Floor two, the epiphany. Floor one.
I threw the woman up, faster than we were falling, it's not my fault your reaction time is so slow. Hitting the ground rolling, I caught the human and ran off, leaving the grinning human behind. No need to be quiet now.
I exited the city, and ran into the nearby woods, looking behind to see no-one following. I slowed, took my time.
I set the woman down inside the cove, and walked back out, shoving the boulder behind me. Walking along the creek, I saw a nice, perfectly weighted rock. I smashed open the geode. Rinsing the crystal-filled stone in the water, I filled it one last time.
I returned to the cove, set down the drinking vessel, and left again. I went about finding the necessary leaves to cure the woman, challenges are fun. I once again returned back to my hold, and placed the plants down, the woman was obviously confused. I don't want to spend anymore time with her unless it's for a meal.
The boulder closed the entrance.
"Hello there, chap."
