I was in my room chillin. Just another warm summer night. Oh, I loved summer. Being able to relax and write my stuff, go to the beach, have fun, what a beautiful season!
I'm so skeptical! I love to over analyze everything and suffer. But all that ends when I'm with friends. Yes, they are my distraction. I am so thankful to have them. Well, at least that was something to brag about.
This night I was alone. Nobody home and I was watching Netflix and chill. I didn't mind not being out with my friends, I'll have time for that tomorrow...
Eating pizza and ice cream, what a mess. Food was ruining my pajamas, but whatever. I was really having fun all alone until I heard something hitting the window.
Oh no! Can't a girl enjoy herself alone for once?
"Whaaaat?" I screamed as I opened the window.
"Yo, chill! It's just me!" He said.
"Of course it's you, Leo. Why on Earth would you throw rocks on my window?" I yelled at him.
"Um, because of your parents, silly". He teased me.
"Oh, shut up! My parents do like you! Now come inside! They are out". I said and run towards the door.
No, Leo is not my boyfriend. He is my best friend. I have known him for ages. He literally knows everything about me.
"What's wrong with you, asshole?" I said while hugging him.
"Nothing... It's just that Daphne... Well, she just isn't the same person I met. I don't know what has changed... She doesn't listen to me or even care about where is our relationship going". He complained.
"Relax! It's just a phase. You've been together for about 2 years. No way she is going to dump you". I stated, while thinking that I probably shouldn't have said this word as she saw him ready to cry. "Don't you dare let that tear drop". I said and offered him a slice of pizza.
"You don't understand me, Hermione! I'm so depressed..." He cried.
"You're just being a crybaby! Stop that immediately! You know that if it was a serious problem I wouldn't yell at you,but you're just being unreasonable. Now get up and let's go for a walk by the sea." I begged him.
"Ok but only for the sake of our friendship." He teased.
So we went...
Warm air was blowing making my hair go crazy. The sea was calm an the waves were crawling gently to the shore.
I always loved walking with Leo. We had the best conversations together. I remember me always complaining and talking nonsense, while he made fun of my silly everyday problems.
We sat on the sand and continued our long conversation about his love life, while I was thinking of my loneliness.
We then noticed a bunch of people, who were sitting quite near us. They were all guys and most of them looked hot. Shirtless and with lots of alcohol, they seemed enjoying their evening too.
One of them stared at me and I felt something...
He was so handsome! His dark curly hair fell messily on his forehead and his blue eyes were shining in the dark. His chiseled face matching the chiselled body..
"Why are you looking at me?" He shouted.
Oh God, what a dumbass!
"Shut up and mind your business, asshole!" I replied, while turning my head.
"What is he heck is happening?" Said Leo clearly upset.
"Let the assholes be assholes" I said laughing.
It was only before this guy came to us that my mood changed.
"Why u here?" I asked him before letting him say anything.
"This 'asshole' wants to apologise, I didn't mean to agitate you." He said.
I laughed.
"Apology not accepted. Now go!" I commanded.
He left with anger and we finally managed to spend the rest of our evening talking.
When I finally came home, my parents rebuked me for being late and not telling them that I was leaving.
I then took a bath and listen to my music. I love taking hot baths at night.
The only thing that made me change my good mood was this guy.
Why he is such a jerk? He was really hot!
And why I've never seen him before?
Yeah, that was all I was thinking that night before falling asleep in my bedroom.
