Sadie's POV:
Today is a big day, it is the day I move from a small city to a BIG city. I was very scared about how my new school will be like and how the kids act there. I am really gonna miss all my friends here in Stanstead, Quebec.
I started to move all of my stuff in the u-haul. When i was done i got into the u-haul with my dad and one of my cats Mirka. The u-haul started moving, i leaned my head against the window and watched my old apartment go by. My eyes started tearing up when i past my friends house, I have lived here for 7 years, I am gonna miss this place a lot. We got on to the highway and i decided to put on some music, so i turn on the radio and listen to music. My dad looks over to me and hands me a tissue.
Dad: it's gonna be alright, you will get use to it in Ottawa there will be a lot of nice kids at your new school and you will have a good time.
I look over at my dad, and say: Well you never know dad, it could change a lot I might even start getting bullied and not make friends at all.
Dad: sweetheart just remember if you get bullied don't show them it hurts you just be strong.
I look back out the window and started falling asleep, One hour later i felt someone trying to wake me up, I look over and it was my dad, the truck wasn't moving, I look out the window and we were parked in a parking lot.
I look at my dad and say: What are we doing, are we okay?
Dad: Yes were okay, I just wanted to know if you are hungry because your mom and uncle are.
I say: Yes I am.
We get out of the truck and go into A&W, I ordered myself some fries and a burger, since i wasn't very hungry. I got my food and started eating my delicious burger and fries. When I was done I went to the bathroom so I wouldn't have to go later. When we got back in the truck I wondered if we were almost there.
I say: Dad how much longer do we have of a drive?
My dad said: Not much longer just forty minutes.
I lay back down and fall asleep just so we got there faster. When we were there I felt the truck stop, I look out the window and see a whole bunch of houses. I get out of the truck and look at our house. It's not as bad as I thought it would be here, there are a lot of houses which means there will be a few kids to hang out with. I go into my house and walk around. Damn it's beautiful in here. I go upstairs and as i see my uncle and mom called there room already, and obviously im the young one so I get the smallest room. My mom brings in a small air mattress and a few blankets.
Mom: Since it's very late and we don't have time to unpack our beds and stuff you can sleep on here, I got you some blankets.
i say: Thanks mom, at least I have something to sleep on. Also, when are we gonna go visit my new school?
Mom: We are gonna go on Wensday because tomorrow we need to unpack the truck.
I say: Okay, well im gonna go to bed now.
My mom shuts my door and goes downstairs, I get into bed and turn off my small light.
