Chapter 1/ why doesn't he like me?

•Garroths POV•

Laurence and I were walking down Lovers Lane because we needed to get out of the house. Laurence was a little close to me. "H-hey Laurence?" I asked him.

"Yeah Garroth? What's up?" He asked looking at me.

    "Why are you so close?" I said looking up(this is my fanfic and Garroth is shorter than Laurence).

"Why can't I be? Also this is a narrow side walk." He stated. I looked down, it was a pretty narrow side walk I don't blame him...

•Laurence's POV•

    Oh my Irene he's so cute! I am so close to just holding us hand! Gah, why do I feel this way if he never even has feelings for me in the first place... I'll ask him at home...

    €Little time-skip when they get back to their house€

    "H-hey Garroth?" I asked him.

"What do you want to know?" He asked in a monotone.

"H-how do you know I want something. I could be asking anything really."

"Because you stutter." Once again in a monotone.

"Fine! I just wanted to ask if you like like any one."

"Nope." He said popping the 'p'. Damn.. well looks like I don't get a chance at this...

"Oh, okay! Just wanted to know!" I said and tried to walk up stairs(keyword: tried). Garroth pulled me down and put me on the couch. I looked at him with a confused look. "Yes?" I questioned.

"Laurence?" He asked. "Do you have a crush on someone?" He looked in to my baby blue eyes with his cerulean ones.

    "N-no..." I answered.

    "Okay!" He said cheerfully and walked up stairs, with me still sitting there dumbfounded.

    "Hey, little Laurence." Zane said as he walk down the steps. "What did you do to my brother?"

    "Why do you care?" I asked

    "Geez it was just a question. But he's upstairs talking to himself and saying your name a lot.. that's all." Right as he says that I'm bolting to the steps and up to Garroth's room.

    "G-Garroth?" I ask.

    "Y-yeah?" He sounds pretty week...

    "C-can I come in?" I hear a faint 'sure' and a open the door slowly. He's sitting on the ground and has a box of tissues next to him and has a pile of them next to him.

    I bolt next to him and next I know we're hugging each other, tight. He's mumbling things into my shirt that I can't comprehend. And I'm rubbing his back to try to calm him down.
