The next morning, Brady slowly opened his eyes to find a still passed out Tiana lying next to him. Then he looked at his alarm clock, which said 11:36am on it. Brady looked back at Tiana and chuckled at her cute snoring. He shifted himself a little bit to make himself more comfortable while he still had his arms around her. Then, a few moments later, Tiana finally opened her drowsy eyes. She looked up at Brady with a side smile and said through her groggy voice and a huge yawn, "Morning . . ." He looked back down at her, moved her curls from her face, and said, "Morning, idiot," and handed her the glass of water sitting next to her.
Tiana glared at him, but realized that he was actually kind of right. She was an idiot for getting drunk last night. She sat up and took a sip of her water.
"What all happend last night? My head is throbbing. And why is your face bruised?" Tiana asked with concern, while softly rubbing Brady's cheek.
"I got in a fight trying to protect your ass last night."
"What? With who? And trying to protect my ass from what?"
"Some douche who was trying to have sex with you."
"What? What did I do? And did you win?"
"You were being the stubborn brat you always have been. You wouldn't come with me and the guy wouldn't let you go so I punched the crap out of him. Then you got so scared you threw up and passed out in my arms. And yes . . . I won."
"You've got to be kidding me?"
"No, I'm serious," he chuckled.
"I puked infront of everyone?"
"Yep."
"Wow. I am so sorry, Brady---for everything. I know I must have acted like an ass last night."
"Yes . . . you definitely, 100% acted like an ass last night.", Brady laughed.
Tiana laughed with a guilty smile on her face. Then Brady continued, "But that doesn't mean I was gonna let that guy hurt you. You're still my best friend, Ti." Then he kissed her on her forehead."See, this is why I have you in my life. To beat up assholes who try to come at me when I'm intoxicated."
"Ha. Sure, Ti.", Brady said laughing at her sad, yet true statement.
"Your mom doesn't know about this does she? Or more importantly, does my dad know?"
"My mom was the one who told me to get you that glass of water for when you woke up. But there was no call from your dad. He probably assumed you slept over here or something. He trust me, you know. Which is why if he asked me what you did last night---"
"You're going to lie to him right?"
"I don't know, Ti. You're dad's pretty intimidating."
"Brady, if my dad were to find out what I did last night, he'd kill me, then bury me, then kill me again."
"But wait, how can he kill you again if you're already dead?"
"Your missing the point, dummy. If your mom tells my dad---"
"She's not gonna tell. Trust me. My mom's on your side."
"Are you sure?"
"I'm sure."
"I don't know, Brady."
"Just breath, Ti. Your dad isn't going to find out," Brady kissed Tiana again on her forehead and gave her a warm hug to calm her down. Then Brady's notification ring tone went off from his phone that was sitting on his night stand. Tiana looked over at his phone and saw that it was a text message from Lauren. Then Tiana grabbed his phone before he could and read the message out loud.
