When my alarm woke me up at 6 AM I rolled off my bed and groaned when I hit the floor. I stood up and went into the bathroom quickly brushing my teeth and putting my hair in a ponytail. I then changed into black sport shorts with a pink lining and a black cami. I put my black and white high tops on, grabbed my phone and earbuds, then walked to the kitchen. While watching youtube I ate my breakfast which was just a banana. By the time it was 6:30 I was in the gym training with Steve.

When we finished I was laying on the matted ground taking deep breaths. After my heartbeat calmed down and I was mostly positive I wasn't going to pass out, I stood up and ran to my room. I took a quick shower and changed into black joggers and a black crop top that said: "don't care never did". I put my hair in a braid, put on my converse, grabbed my backpack, which included my wallet and keys among other things, and ran down to the garage. I was almost there when a white-haired speedster stopped me.

"Where are you going?" he questioned with a smirk.

"Umm... the garage, I gotta go somewhere and do some things," I said, getting my keys out and twirling them around my finger anxiously.

"Can I come with?" he asked like an excited puppy.

"No, sorry. I really got to go. Maybe some other time," I said, continuing down the stairs. I hardly heard him reply. When I got to the garage I ran to my car, a two-door, black, 2010 Jeep Wrangler. My dream car, not too fancy, but still looked sleek, and perfect for off-roading. As soon as I turned it on, I put it in drive and sped off, leaving tire marks on the floor that Tony would yell at me for later. I drove for about five hours and was now in upstate New York. I think most people don't realize that not all of New York is tall buildings and traffic, the countryside is very beautiful. Rolling to a stop in a little patch of forest, I turned off the car, grabbed my backpack, got out and locked it.

I wandered for a while before finding a tall tree. I smirked and grabbed a sturdy branch that was right above my head. I heaved myself up and put my feet on another branch. I continued to scale the monstrous tree until I couldn't go any further because the branches would break. My heart was pounding in my chest and the view was breathtaking. While climbing as an animal made for this would've been easier, I like a good challenge every once in a while.

After a few minutes, I start back down the tree. When I had about 30 feet left I decided to tie my backpack to a branch so it would be safe. Eventually getting to the ground I continued to wander. Getting bored I changed into your standard Grey Wolf and ran for a while. It felt good to be away from the city and not worry about anything. I accidentally stayed out too long and by the time I was back at the Jeep with my backpack the sun was setting and I had a long drive ahead.

When I got back to the tower, it was almost one in the morning and I knew I was going to be in trouble. When I entered the garage I quietly got out and locked the Jeep.

"Friday, don't tell Tony and Steve that I'm just getting back please."

"I am so sorry Victoria, but I'm afraid I can't," she replied.

"You already told them didn't you?"

"I'm afraid so."

"Okay, thanks Friday." I ran my hands over my face and started up to my floor, taking the stairs. I paused in the stairwell and took my backpack off my back and grabbed it by its straps. I took a deep breath and took the stairs two at a time, hearing someone coming up the stairs toward me. As soon as I got to the floor, I bolted to my room, only slowing down to close my door quietly. I quickly dropped the backpack, took off my clothes and changed into random pajamas then flopped onto my bed pretending to be asleep.
