Hey guys! This is her best potato bud here, and I decided to write the next chapter for her! It might not be that great, so CONSTRUCTIVE criticism is appreciated! Hope you enjoy anyway though, loves! (p.s. this is supposed to be a cozy cool chapter, imagine the cafe kinda as the picture above if ya want)
~ written by me, @septicpsycho
We sit in the car, silence enveloping the space. The only interruption to be found was the pounding of my own heart and the thoughts running through my head. The events finally caught up with me. I was in the car, alone- with my idol. The man who's videos and giddy attitude have brought the smallest ray of sunshine to my otherwise dull life and he's--
"You okay?" Sean suits me a look. I didn't realize my muscles were so tense until I loosened them. "Yeah! I'm just thinking.." My cheeks lift up into an involuntary smile when I see his cobalt blue eyes twinkle.
"About what?" He smirks. "Me?"
"In your dreams," I roll my eyes.
"Maybe it is," he winks, causing my heart to leap into my throat.Sean parks the car in a familiar parking lot, and we both climb out. My legs feel like jelly.
"Here we are!" The Irishman exclaims. I look up from the ground and see a brick red building standing tall, tiny green shrubs outlining its frame. I give a sad smile-- I used to come here with my dad every weekend before he... Well...
"Let's go, shall we?" My voice cracks with the thickness of emotions I try to hold back as I link my arm with Sean's. We skip like dorks to the building, attracting stares from bystanders, but I don't care. The virus of happiness spreads through my veins, infecting every part of me with adrenaline.
Sean lets go of my arm just long enough to push open the door. We walk inside, warm air swirling around our bodies, dividing its path as it disperses itself into the cold rain outside. Cozy.
Theres very few people left in the restaurant, nobody other than an old couple and a regular named Steve. He waves to me. "Hey Steve!" I grin and sit down at one of the shiny mahogany tables. "Comfy," Sean comments in a content voice. "Yeah, I used to come here with my dad a lot," I keep my voice low, as to not disturb the peace. My idol nods, tossing me a menu. By the time I finally settle on a food item, Sean is already talking to one of the peppy waitresses that work the late shifts. I recognized her as Barb, the bubbly golden blonde who worked until midnight. I wondered what her sleeping schedule must be like?
After a little bit, a different waiter sets plates piked with steaming food in front of us. I grab my meatball sub and immediately start eating. You could say that I like food quite a bit. Sean raises an eyebrow, making me accidentally snort with laughter, which makes me giggle even more. "Oops." He gives me one of his trademark charming smiles.
"Have I ever told you that you look lovely tonight?" He lowers his voice to a husky whisper. I look down at my light pink jeans and Gray long sleeved crop top . I can almost feel the mascara running down my face from the rain.
"Not necessarily," I squeak, as he grins.
"Well, ya do!" He smiles.
My eyes trail down his figure, at his soaking wet crimson shirt and his blue jeans. A snapback rests casually on his head. The very definition of perfect imperfection.
"You... Too," I gulp. Theres a moment of silence as both of us wonder what to do next. I want to kiss him, but would that be too straight forward?
He leans across the table as I nervously follow suit. His breath is warm against my cheeks. My eyes are wide open, whereas his are rested gracefully closed. His pillow-y lips linger above mine, and I wonder how soft they must be. My body involuntarily inches closer, but Sean pulls away and stands up, smiling at the dazed look on my face.
"Lets go home, shall we?"
"Fookin' tease," I mutter following him out the door.
Did ya like?
