Chapter 1: Point of No Return
"She thinks she's the king of the world or something. God, she pisses me off." Virginia was ranting on about the Queen Bitch a.k.a. Virginia's worst enemy. Totally high-class. "I mean, look at her! She's just some rich prostitute. Hey, are you even listening to me, Chrissa?"
I gave a short nod at her, "Yeah, all ears on you, Gini (Pronounced as Jini)."
"Good. Her bitch power is emanating on me." Speak for yourself.
"Emanating, huh? SAT word. It's good that Luke's smartness rub off on you. You're still in contact, right?" I can't helped but be pissed that she gets the guy I like every time. Like this guy. Luke Bremwoth. Remember him? Mr. Smartass.
She just brushed the topic off as if it was a casual thing. Luke was special to me at one point and not once, did he ask for my number and he never gave me his. "Oh? That smart little guy? Yeah but I don't see him anymore. I mean, what's the point? It's been a year already so maybe he's kinda tall and skinny now. That nerd, pffft."
She licked off the rest of her fro-yo and faced me, "Listen, no matter what happens, we'll always be together. Don't let your parents move you to Woodland Bracken High. We're fine here at the local public school. We'll gain lotsa experience in important stuffs." Fun fact #1: Virginia dislikes my parents. I don't know why because she won't even tell me.
Her big doe-like mahogany brown eyes sparkled with so much pleading. She pursed her lips and produced a pout, "Pweetty pweassse, Miss Perispark." Now you know what I mean of my situation. If a hot Mexican teenage woman pleads, don't make the mistake of turning your back on her. She might chase you with a knife while her rack is bouncing and all those chicas and pendejos with her. For someone like me who doesn't want to get killed, I immediately responded, "I'm not certain of the future, Gini. Whatever happens, happens. 'Cause that's God's plan. God will never harm us."
She rolled her eyes, "All you talk about is religious stuff; that's why guys are not approving when I say they could be kinky with you too. God this, God that."
I bit my lip in nervousness. I already lost everything to Virginia. I wouldn't want to lose God and my faith too. "I don't care if guys don't look at me with starving eyes. My parents weren't that much religious either; we're just a mid-class family. That's why I'm really thankful that God has given me all the things I have needed. I am a woman who should be treated with respect." Her brown eyes narrowed at me as if she wasn't convinced of what I had relayed to her.
Then she skimpered off like she was in a hurry. I had no other choice but to follow her and so I did. Actually, it was lunch time and Virginia and I wandered off the outskirts of the city in order to find her favorite frozen yoghurt stand. And now, we're going back to her car so that way, we'd be able to get back to school before the lunch break ends. She went to her Porsche 918 Spyder. Well, she is rich. Without a doubt, her daddy will give her an expensive car, especially on her 16th birthday. However, I had gotten an Ashton Martin Vanquish. I'm not loaded like her but my ex best friend/Mr. bad boy was. We were that close. If only she didn't take me away and he protested, maybe, just maybe, he'd be the one out here with me.
But thank God he didn't. He had done so much crimes more than Gini could ever do in 50 years. I'd rather not be friends with that jerk. Anyways, back to reality: we drove back to school and were surprised by thousands of balloons. Gini took a step outside her car and lifted off her shades just to be sure she isn't dreaming. Oh. She thought it was for her.
But it was not. And it wasn't for me either. It was for Terra a.k.a. Miss Buzzkill. She's Tiffany 's (the Queen Bitch Gini was ranting on about earlier) bestie. So maybe by now you would've guessed who the sender was. Well, it was none other than Kieran Schmeir. The notorious America's bad boy and former President Gerald Schmeir's son.
