After leading us to a deserted grassy area of the park, Aspen had taken out a blue metal water bottle. I thought he was going to take a drink but he turned it upside down, the water flowing slowly out the end, creating a rainbow.
"Throw this coin into it and say these words: Oh Iris, goddess of the Rainbow, please accept my offering. Then say, Percy Jackson."
He held out some gold and shiny coin to me, and I took it, feeling very stupid as I threw the coin into the rainbow and said the words. For once, Penny didn't seem to care it was me, not her.

Mist appeared in the rainbow, and formed the image of a teenage boy with black hair and sea green eyes. He looked like he hadn't slept in days.
"Any luck with the prophecy-situation?" Aspen asked, coming forward. None of us (besides the boy, it seemed) knew what he was talking about.
"Apollo's still figuring it out. Ella did say some weird stuff that sounded a lot like a prophecy, and no-one has heard it before."
Aspen nodded, before pushing us forward. I turned to glare at him, just before he said, "These are Keiko, Nadya and Penny. I was wondering if the prophecy says anything that could include them."
"Actually, yeah, it said something about three demigods."
We turned to each other, mystified. Demigods? Penny mouthed, and I shrugged.
"I'll send Blackjack, Guido and Porkpie over. And Annabeth and Reyna. Actually, I'll go as well."

By this point, I was only half taking in what he was saying. After all, I could understand even less, so what was the point?
Aspen waved a hand through the mist and it disappeared.

We waited for what seemed like hours, but that was probably just my ADHD.

Three horses came to the ground, and me, Keiko and Penny let out gasps, for these horses had wings. They were flying! That sort of stuff only happens in movies!

One person was sitting on each horse. The boy with the green eyes sat on the horse in the middle, and two girls sat on the others. One had blonde hair and grey eyes, while the other had black eyes and black hair worn in a braid. The boy, Percy, and the girl with blonde hair wore orange shirts and the other girl a purple shirt.

After dismounting the horses, Percy and the two girls headed towards them.
"Hi. I'm Percy Jackson, and this," he gestured at the blonde, who smiled even though her grey eyes remained stormy, "is Annabeth. And this is Reyna." the other girl studied them before giving a single nod.

Keiko smiled nervously and Penny lifted a hand in way of a lazy wave. I introduced us and one of the horses neighed, pawing at the ground. Percy frowned in its direction, before saying, "Yes, I know, Blackjack."

Blackjack? I was confused- we were the only people I could see.

"He can talk to horses." Annabeth smiled a small, proud smile.
My mouth formed a small o.
What was this? Was this someone's sick idea of a joke? I pinched myself to check if I was awake. Ow. I definitely was.

Penny spoke my thoughts aloud. "Am I really here? Is this actually happening?"

"Yep." said Aspen. Our attention turned to him before we all gasped again, because he wasn't human. He had goat legs. And horns!

'We need to go, now." Percy looked around uneasily, as if expecting another monster to burst out of the bushes, and Annabeth nodded.

Percy, Aspen and Penny rode on Blackjack, while I rode with Reyna on a horse she had informed me was called Guido. Keiko and Annabeth rode on a horse called Porkpie.

The flight was insane. I had only flown once, from France to here, and I was too young to remember anything then. That was in a plane. This was on a flying horse. I could see the landscape around me, and it was utterly beautiful. Everything seemed so magical from up here. The ugly neighbourhood I lived in didn't look ugly at all from this height.

Reyna explained as much as she could, telling me that some parts might be different as she was from the Roman camp, not the Greek.

When she had finished, I sat still and considered all that she had said. There was some crazy stuff in there. I was part God? That was a lot to take in. I wasn't sure I could handle it, but before I knew it, I was asleep.

The land around me was an icy wasteland. Snow covered everything- not the snow in movies, where children build snowmen and make angels in the snow. This snow was icy and cold. The sky was dark and a sense of foreboding flew with the vigorous, biting wind. I felt like I was going to blow away with it.

A voice echoed from all around me- "I WILL CAST MY RAGE, A FOREVER WINTER, AND THERE IS NOTHING ANYONE WILL BE ABLE TO DO TO STOP ME."

And then I did blow away with the wind. I was whipped along with it, fighting uselessly against its strong current.

And then I woke up.
