Bad News

"Hey Bailey! I have something very important to tell you." I sounded desperate on the phone.

" What's wrong Carl's? " Bailey questioned.

" My mom is making us move. Well, my step mom and step dad. They are making me and my brother move Bailey! I won't be able to hangout with you! " I squealed.

" Calm down Carl's. Ask Mrs. Dark if you can take someone with you. "

" Okay, I'll call you back if she says yes. "

I went downstairs where Mrs. Dark and Mr. Dark were. They were discussing some stuff. The only thing I got to hear was that the alpha of the pack wants us to move.

He's making my dad beta and my mom is very happy.

" Are you ready Carl's?" Mr. Dark asked.

"Um, I have a question. Can I take someone with us? "

" Of course sweetie. Take anybody you like. Maybe like Bailey? I hear there's a mall close to where we are going to move. " Mrs. Dark smiled.

I smiled and hugged them. I then went upstairs to tell my bff the good news.

After that very long ride in the sports car, we finally made it. Somehow I remembered this neighborhood. Wait.... It's my mates territory.

I mentally palmed myself. Why didn't I ask first?

"Gere we are guys. Pick a room and start unpacking. We will meet at 7pm sharp. That gives you two time to explore. "

Bailey and I ran inside the house with our luggage.

" How about a room next to each other? " She questioned.

I smiled and followed my bff upstairs. This house was amazing. As we saw two doors, we immediately entered the rooms.

My room was neon blue with black. And I mean everything was neon blue and black. It was amazing. My room had one big window and a small window that was covered.

I undid it and saw bailey's room. It was green with pink. Her favorite watermelon colors. I tapped on her window and her smile grew wider.

"This is amazing. I love it here. "

" I know. Let's unpack and meet each other outside cause I good big news to tell you. Shade down girl. "

And hour later, we both finished at the same time. We giggled and interlaced our arms. As we walked downstairs, I also the alpha. In other words, my mate.

He looked surprised. I on the other hand, not so much.

" He's a hottie. " Bailey smirked.

I rolled my eyes while trying to pull her Away. Once outside, we ran to the mall. It only took us 3 minutes. Fantastic.

" Okay, spill the beans! "

" Um, I know i should've told you this earlier since you are my best friend. I just wanted to tell you in the right time and I guess this is the right time. The alpha that we have now is my....mate" I whispered the last part.

I looked at her and her face fell. Her whole expression was blank. I wondered if she was mad at me or if the whole mate thing got to her?

"Are you mad Bays? " I asked carefully.

She shook her head a no and smiled very evilly at me. Oh no.

Co you like him?" She questioned even though she new the answer to that.

I gave her a pointed look, it made her laugh. Shaking her head, she rubbed her hands together. She smiled widely when she looked behind me.

"Look." She pointed.

I turned slowly, Jay.

*Jays P.o.v *

As Carl's turns around, she didn't looked surprised. I couldn't read her expressions because they were blank. Just like her friend.

"Can I speak to you for a minute? " I asked even though it came out as a demand.

" Nope. Let's go Bailey. "

I looked at her friend. She shrugged and glared. Okay? What's her problem? As soon as they take one step, u grab Carl's hand.

She looks at me like I'm crazy. She struggles...and you know all that crap they do to get away. Even if she tried to, she couldn't cause I'm a whole lot stronger than her.

She sighs and looks at Bailey for help. She comes forward but gets stopped by my third on command. Paul.

'Dude, she's my mate. ' he says excited through the mind linked.

I smile and shoo them off. She seemed confused and all. Anyways, I turn my attention to Carl's, she's just standing there looking at the ground.

Her face, blank.

"Look at me. " I demand.

She shook her head and kept staring at the floor like it's gonna help her. I lift her chin up, she looks annoyed this time.

At least she let an emotion ou- spoke to soon.

" Can you please let me go now? "

" Not until you let me talk first. "

She sighed but nodded. I mentally did a happy dance. What? This isn't gonna happen again unless I do something.
