Week 1

This are the things that I have learned this week since school begun. In the first week I learned about graphic organizers. There are different kinds of graphic organizers for example are concept maps, matrix /matices and plot structures.

Another one is about the biofueled and soaps from janitor fish which was an article reasearched by a Marikina Science High School student by the name of Raymond Joseph S. Amurao.

I learned that janitor fish are also called suckermouth fish, they and not endemic in the Philippines. It was introduced in from South America. It is considered as a pest because it reproduce very fast and they cause water turbidity and erosion.

The janitor fish oil was used to create biofuel and soap, both heated and unheated oil were used in the process. Transesterefication is the process of turning oil into biodiesel . Saponification is the process of converting oil into soap (solid and liquid).

Journalism is publication. Journal means "Diurna" in latin and it means daily. Publication is categorized to oral, written and visual. That is all for now.
