The Way I Met My Soulmate

Chapter 1: The Beginning

Ariana was so excited to be working on her new album. She has wanted to do music ever since she was a young girl. After she was done filming the hit show "Victorious" on Nickelodeon she put out a single called "Put Your Hearts Up" , but Ariana wasn't too happy with it and soon left it in the past. As Ariana worked on her new album there was one particular song that caught her eye. "The Way" written by Jordan Sparks was one of her favorite songs.
Ariana soon recorded "The Way" with her own vocals and harmonies, but she felt something was missing from the song. But she didn't know what. Later on that week she went to a award ceremony where she met a someone... a special someone. This someone was short like Ari and had many tattoos. His head was shaved and and he had a beard. He wore many rings and smelt of cigarettes. He told Ariana his name and they talked for a while. He asked Ariana if she would like anything to drink. "Yes please" said Ari looking a bit shy.
"What would you like to drink?" he asked, blushing. "Just some water would be nice".
As he walked away Ariana rushed over to her friend.
"Victoria Victoria!!" Ariana said with excitement, "Guess what!?" Victoria looked a bit startled yet also excited to see Ariana this happy.
"What happened?" Victoria asked.
Ariana stuttered with excitement trying to tell her friend what happened.

"What was his name?" Asked Victoria.
To much joy to barley speak Ariana said
"His name is Mac Miller and he is a rapper!"
Victoria froze and stared at Ariana.
"Ariana you know how rappers are! They are bad boys! They are so disrespectful and not nice!"
Ariana looked at her friend with sadness.
"Victoria he is sweet and kind!"
"But Ari-" without any more hesitation Ariana ran over to Mac and began to talk to him again.

Victoria stood there and kept an eye on her best friend. She went from table to table making sure Ariana was ok. At one table stood Ariana's brother Frankie.
"Victoria you okay?" asked Frankie with a weird look on his face.
"Ariana is talking to a rapper" said Victoria in a worried voice.
"Whats wrong with that?" Frankie asked.
At that time Ariana and Mac sat down together at a table. They were sitting close together looking at Ariana's phone. Victoria did not answer Frankie, she was to busy keeping an eye on Mac's actions towards Ariana.

As the party ended Ariana and Mac parted ways. Ariana came over to Frankie and Victoria with the biggest smile on her face.
"Looks like you had fun!" Frankie said with a funny voice.
"Guys i have great news!!!" Ariana said in an overwhelmingly exited voice. Victoria was scared to know what the big news was.
"Mac has agreed to be featured on my new single!!" said Ariana.
Frankie jumped up and down in excitement. Though he didn't know who Mac Miller was he wanted to show Ariana that he supports her.
"That's great!" Victoria said in relief.

As Ariana, Victoria and Frankie walked out of the party Victoria asked
"You really like him don't you?"
Ariana responded with "I don't know, he makes me feel happy, and i can be myself around him. But i still don't know him well enough to like him like that."
Ariana explained to Victoria that her and Mac are meeting up soon to record the rap to "The Way".

Ariana also said she has some new thoughts for the song now that Mac is going to be on it.
