"Who are they?" I asked Raven. She did want to tell me, I could tell in her eyes.
"I can't tell you right now." That's all she said. She grabbed my hand and told me not to let go. We started flying through the air. She took me to see how beautiful this town really is. It took my mind off of everything. We were on my way home. I guess everything was safe.
I Looked down. We were over the mansion. I could see a tall slim guy riding a horse I heard him saying something or maybe he was singing. We landed on the roof of the mansion. I got a better view of the guy. Oh my, he is so sexy! His hair shined in the moon light. I think I'm falling in love already!
You don't know how bad I wanted to go down there and talk to him. Raven just stared at me with wide yellow eyes. She knew I liked him. She could feel it. Just then we heard a loud noise in the air. He looked up. Raven dropped to her stomach. I stood there frozen. He started to look straight at me. I thought I was about to faint. Just then a girl about my age or younger came out of the house. "Declan, are you singing while riding again?" The girl asked with a smile.
This girl was dark carmel color. She was beautiful. Her black hair fell to her shoulder. She was slim. She didn't look like that guy, well Declan, at all. Was that his girlfriend? Cousin? Or was she his sister or what? I wanted to know.
"Yes Madison, I always do!" Declan said with a smirk. She walked up to him and joined in with the song. They were singing, "I love you this big." Declan had a sexy deep singing voice. Madison was pretty good too. I had to bite my tongue to not sing along.
I was so caught up in them singing, I screamed when Raven touched my arm. But when I turned around it wasn't Raven. A tall built dude had my arm. And I could tell he didn't want to let go. He had white hair. He was very pale. He looked like he was in his early 30's. He wore dark clothes. I looked up straight in to his yellow eyes. I couldn't move. Was this what raven was warning me about? How did they find me? Who are they?
Just then I heard a huge boom on the roof next to me. "Dylan, What are you doing here?" asked Declan in an angry deep voice. He grabbed my hand. I felt chills run through my hands to my feet. I wanted to melt.
"Do you know this girl?" asked Dylan. Declan nodded his head. Why is he doing this for me? In the corner of my eye I saw Raven hiding. "Where is that little bastard Raven?" Dylan asked. No this can't be happening. He wants my best friend.
"I have no clue who this raven chick is. May I ask you to get away from my house now?" Declan asked. Dylan stared at me with his yellow evil eyes. He smiled at me. Before I knew it he flew off!
"Thank you so much Declan, I haven't seen you in forever." Raven commented. Wait how did she know him? She ran up to him and gave him a huge hug. Then she gave one to Madison, her face was glowing. "I didn't know that y'all lived here. I would have came as soon as you moved in." Said Raven
"I didn't know you lived here either." comment Declan. He grabbed my hand again then pulled it away. "I'm sorry." He said looking down. I didn't want him to let go.
"This is my Best friend, Kyleigh Mae!" Raven commented with a wink. He took my hand and kissed it. I blushed. I hope it was too dark to notice.
"I'm Declan Turner. And this is my step sister Madison Cooks." He said. She shook my hand. I pulled in and gave her a hug. She looked welcomed. "What were y'all doing on our roof anyways?" Declan asked.
"Well I know how much Kyleigh Mae wanted to know who lived here. See, when she feels lonely she comes in the Mansion and listens to music. It calms her down." Raven said. He nodded his head like he understood. He kept staring at me. He has beautiful blue eyes. like bright ocean blue. It was'nt a natural eye color.
I finally got the nerves to say something. I looked at all three of them and asked, "Who was that?" They all three looked down. Dang whats with them looking down.
Declan looked up with a serious face and replied "You will find out soon." What was that suppose to mean? I didn't worry about it.
Raven finally broke the silence and said, "We all should go to a movie tomorrow." My eyes lit up and I think Declan noticed because he started to blush.
"Yes we totally should." said Madison. We all smiled.
"Do you ride horses?" Declan asked me.
I smiled. I said a-matter-of-fact "Yes, I have my own horse right across the street, where I live." I said proudly "Her name is Bella!" I pointed at my house. He smiled and took my hand. We flew down to the soft green grass.
"Good thing you have a horse, because we only have 3." Madison said. Declan got on his horse. When he got settled he reached for my hand. I thought I was going to faint! I grabbed his firm strong hand. He pulled me with no struggle on the back of his horse.
"Declan you better not do anything stupid. You too Cowgirl!" Raven said with a wink.
"Funny!" I said sarcasticly. I wrapped my arms around Declan. He was so warm. I just wish his arms were around me.
To break the akwkard silenice Declan asked " How long have you lived here?"
"Oh hun, for almost my whole life!" I replied.
"To be honest, this town has been pretty boring until I met you!" he said with a sexy smile. All I could do is blush. Was he flirting with me? I whisperded thank you to him. "So if your a human why do you hang out with Raven?" Declan asked.
"I dont't know. I met her when I was 7 or 8. She is really cool and she gets me. I aso have a friend that is a warewolf. And another one that is a mermaid!" I said with pride. I could tell he was shocked.
"Oh, so do yu hang out with any humans, like a boyfriend?" Declan asked quietly.
I replied "Not really. I talk to them at school but I don't hang out with them. I like things that I have to keep a secret form everyone else. And no I don't have a boyfriend!"
"Good." He said. Was he afriad I was going to tell people he was a vampire. A sexy country vampire at that. We finally made it to the barn. I got Bella and rode to his house with him. FOr most of the night that's all we did.That was the best night of my life, until I walked back into my house.
