Smoke penetrates my lungs as I take a drag. Calmness takes over my body and I can finally relax. It's been two hours since I've had a cigarette and I felt like I was going to die.

As I stand under the roof of the store, escaping from the rain, a sigh leaves my lips. The two of them are taking forever. They said all they had to do was get in there, grab the stuff, and run out.

Stealing should not take this long. Especially for them two.

And I bet they found girls. Whenever there is a pretty looking girl walking around, whatever they were doing suddenly becomes unimportant. We need to get out of here.

Forcing myself to take matters into my own hands, I chuck the cigarette on the ground and put it out with my foot. I grab the handle and pull, alarming the bell.

When I get in there, it's like a deserted island. Only a couple people - old ladies - are walking around with carts. So finding them should be easy.

I start to walk down each aisle until I reach the one with the ice cream. This one guys? Really?

Scott's brown hair comes into my vision. The collar on his leather jacket is standing up. He is resting his hand on one of the shelves, the other on his side. Bryant is standing next to him, laughing at something.

So I take a closer look by going near them, far enough so they won't see me.

Standing there like a deer in headlights is a girl. She is rather pretty with her brown curly hair and brown eyes. It appears that Scott and Bryant are intimidating her.

"So where are you from babe? You're rather pretty." Scott coos. Bryant laughs.

Way to go. What a charmer you are.

"P-please leave me alone." She begs, her voice is soft and has traces of fear in it.

I laugh for the first time after seeing this. All of their heads turn to me and Bryant and Scott smile bigger. "Nice of you to join us Tanner. This lady is pretty don't you think?"

When he asks me the question all I can do is look at her. What was only a small amount of fear has increased upon seeing me. I smirk.

"Let me handle this one boys."

The two of them walk away and I go up to the girl.

"What's your name, darling?"

No reply.

"Hello? Answer me."

When she speaks, I smile. "What do you want from me? Who are you?"

Instinct kicks in and I run my fingers through my hair.

"Nothing. No one you should know about. Here's a offer. I'll give you five seconds to run away from me and out this store."

The girl drops everything and turns around running, from me.

I like a good chase.
