Butler: Good morning Master Im Jae Bum. (He bows to JB) Your breakfast is ready. Would you like to eat in your room or dining room?
JB: Min Jun-ssi, what did I tell you already? (irritated) You can call me JB.
Min Jun: I'm very sorry. It won't happen again.
JB: I'll eat in the dining room.
Min Jun: Right away Master JB.
JB's POV
I wonder how she's doing. I hope she's doing well. How come she never called me?! Seven years pass and not one phone call! She's so horrible! Ok get a hold of yourself! You need to work on your temper. When she comes, or IF she ever comes you can't be acting all rude. I just wish I can see her. See her smile again. I miss you Jules. Please come back. Jebal.
JB goes down stairs and saw his favorite dish.
JB: Oh! Soondubujiggae! (Soft spicy tofu stew)
JB finished his bowl of rice in less than 10 seconds.
JB: (slurps) Ah! Mashittda!!
Before he can ask for more the maids give him another bowl of rice.
Min Jun: Master Im...JB, here is the daily newspaper.
Min Jun almost said JB's full name. JB didn't hear that. He was so focused on eating.
JB: It's ok. I'm eating so you can read it. I know how much you love to read the newspaper.
Min Jun: Oh no Master JB. I couldn't...
JB: I said you can read it. It's ok.
JB looked at him and Min Jun didn't want to get JB mad so he did exactly what JB said. But he had to wait till JB was done eating. JB noticed Min Jun standing with the newspaper.
JB: You can have a seat Min Jun-ssi. Don't worry you're not bothering me if you sit here with me.
Min Jun: But...
JB: No buts! Just sit down and read the newspaper. I also know that you like the "Business" part. You can read that to me. I want to see what's going on.
JB was also the only child. Min Jun would always be there for him if he needed anything. JB secretly wants Min Jun around because deep down inside he feels alone. JB had his friends too but then again they are not with him every day, all day.
Min Jun: Very well Master JB.
Min Jun turns to the "Business" page. Before he can read a word JB snatches the newspaper. Min Jun was scared and ducked his head. JB didn't see what Min Jun did. Instead JB saw the front page and he stared at the newspaper.
JB's POV
What? How can this be? It's her!! JULES!
JB leaves the table and gets his keys. He rushes out the door and drives so fast to Jules's house. He never forgot where she lived. Every day he would visit her house wishing she would be there. Wishing that she can be in his arms.
(Vroom)...(Beep)...(Vroom)
JB's POV
I have to go there! Please Jules! Please be there when I arrive! I've missed you! My wish. It's finally coming true! At last.
JB parks right in front of her house and runs to the front door. He bangs the front door.
JB: Please. Please be here.
The door opens.
JB: Jules!!
?: I'm sorry Lady Jules is not here right now.
JB: Where is she?!
?: She's visiting her brother's grave.
JB: Oh ok. Can you please tell her that I came by?
?: Of course Master Im Jae Bum. As you wish.
JB: Thank you. Goodbye.
JB walks away with a sad face. He remembered that day when Jules was forever changed. The day when her older brother, his hyung, his best friend...died.
[At the graveyard]
Me: Thank you for bringing me here appa and eomma. I want to see him as soon as I landed. You both can go to work. I can ride the other car when I'm done.
Eomma: Are you sure? We can stay until you are done.
Me: No it's ok. I know you guys have to go to work. Don't worry about me.
Appa: Ok Jules. We will see you tonight for dinner.
Me: Ok.
I get out of the car and wave goodbye to my parents as they drove off. My bodyguards follow me to my brother's grave. They left some space for me. I'm pretty sure appa told them to. I stand and look at his grave.
Me: Hey. I know it's been awhile. Actually a long time...nine years.
Next thing I know my body drops and my knees hit the grass. Tears start flowing down my cheeks. The sky turns dark filled with clouds.
Me: I miss you! Why did you leave me?! You meant so much to me! No you meant EVERYTHING to me!! You were there when appa and eomma was not there. You protected me. You would care for me when I got hurt. My heart hurts every time I think of you. After you left...my world was so lonely. I was only eight! You were too young to die. And I HATE that stupid drunk that crashed into you!! I didn't know what to do anymore!
Tears and more tears flowed down and it was to the point where I couldn't speak anymore. I just cried.
····SEVERAL MINUTES LATER····
Me: (sniffs) But I'm glad that I had my friends there. You know they looked up to you. (chuckle) We all did. I miss you. You were the best brother anyone can ask for. I love you and forever you will be in my heart.
I wipe the rest of the tears with my arms. I get up from the ground and put on my sunglasses. The sun came out again. I left the graveyard. My bodyguards and I returned to the cars and one of them opened the car door for me. I turned back to look at his grave. I smiled and got in the car. We drove to my house where I knew things wouldn't change. A house full of lonliness.
